This hotel is fantastic! I cannot say enough positive things about the staff, they are kind, friendly, accommodating - always ready to help, you do not have to ask for anything. Room is spacious and nice. The beach is great, clean and plenty of lounge chairs. Not enough shade on the beach, but you can always find the umbrellas at the pool area. The food is great, especially the buffet and the steakhouse. The only downside, the music from evening entertainment is pretty loud and can be heard in the room. But in any case it is usually over by 10:30 pm. Overall, we had a great stay and I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family!

Nice place to stay in. They got plenty of restaurants and bars open to fill you up. Sadly I liked the buffet more than the restaurant. Room are clean and spacious. Room service did take a bit long to bring towels to our room almost over 1 hr and I called several times and talked with 3 different people just to get this done. The bar open till midnight is amazing. Bartender Claudia is good at what she does. 5 stars for her.

WE LOVED IT!!!! We stayed at the Riu Palace Riviera Maya for a week in May 2022 and had the MOST AMAZING time. First and foremost, the staff is wonderful. So friendly and welcoming. We never had to ask for anything, someone was always there to offer us a drink or a snack or anything else we needed. The resort activities team was so much fun! We've been to resorts in the past, but we haven't engaged with the activities. This time, we took full advantage of them, and watched the shows each night (terrific!), went to the "foam party" and "coconut party" at the pool, and took some of the workout classes they offered. The beach was gorgeous, super clean, and plenty of beach loungers to enjoy. The food was one of the best parts of the experience. Full confession, we frequently ate an early dinner at one of the stand-alone restaurants and then ate a second meal and dessert later at the buffet! Breakfast could get a bit crowded but otherwise there was always plenty of seating at the meals with very attentive wait staff. The pools were beautiful, and the grounds were pristine. It was also fun to be able to visit all the nearby Riu hotels and enjoy their grounds as well. We had such a wonderful time that we've already booked our trip for next year. Highly recommend!!

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any room. This website will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area. I have been coming here for years. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be disappointed. Pleasant stay. Room is clean, lobby is modern and contemporary.

Thanks for a wonderful stay ???? we visited for 5 days with our 2 young kids and extended family. We were pleasantly surprised by how clean everything was, and the staff was so nice and helpful.
There weren’t many kids around, and the crowd was a bit older so it’s pretty quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed the food, the pool, and the beach ????. One of my favorites is the coffee bar in the lobby area. I was a frequent visitor for coffee, delicious milk shakes, and pastries every day.

Me and my family stayed at the hotel for 11 nights and it was one of my favourite holidays of all time. First impressions were very positive as we received a warm welcome from the tall gentleman as we got off the coach and this continued as we checked in. All the staff were amazing with Gustavo, Roberto and Juan in the main buffet being excellent. There was also exceptional service both by the pool, particularly from German and on the beach by our personal favourite Martin who always had a smile on his face! The food was great and the buffet was by far the best I’ve ever had with a wide range of choice at a high quality. The daytime entertainment was excellent with Daniel and Cristopher standing out, they were always so warm and made us feel happy. Overall our stay at the hotel was excellent and we will be returning in the near future.

What an amazing vacation at Riu Riviera Maya. The staff was excellent and very very friendly. The grounds and amenities are amazing. Victor was great and always kept our drinks coming at the pool, we never had an empty cup. The daily activities at the pool were very fun and entertaining. Daniel kept the crowd going with his dance moves. There are many different options for dinner and all of them were decent, although I will say the steakhouse was our favorite. There was a small mishap with our room, but Monica was quick in making everything right again and then going above and beyond to make sure everything else with our stay was great. Best vacation experience we have had at an all inclusive and we will be back in the near future!

We stayed at this hotel for two weeks between Aug-Sep 2022. We had a fantastic time, the place is very clean, wide range of delicious and fresh food. There is a live entertainment every evening and fitness activities during day. Waiters bring your cocktails to the swimming pool, Roman, Karen and many others at the reception will handle all your queries swiftly and with a smile. We have never come across such hard working staff. All waiters, bartenders, cleaners are constantly on the move, they never slow down. They remember your drinks and favourite tables, they pull the chair out for ladies to sit at the table. I think that this kind of attitude and enthusiasm only comes when you truly like your job and are proud being part of the team. Monica the manager was very professional and kind, she is clearly the right person for the job. She is very empathetic and helpful with any concerns you might have. It is clear that the management and staff at this hotel have only one goal - for you to enjoy your stay. They are the best of the best, professionals. Look no further, you will land on your feet with Riu Palace Riviera Maya.
