The private tour to Chichen Itza and cenote was absolutely amazing.
Being in the van with just the tour guide (Kat) and driver (Benjamin) was so peaceful. it was early so my bf was able to sleep and i got to talk with Kat about some of the things going on in the area.
Getting to Chichen Itza early is key, we were able to get so many photos without people in the background which was awesome. the fact that they take the photos and send them to you is also a huge plus.
1000% i would book a tour with them again, and would absolutely tell friends and family that this tour is worth it.

We had a great experience with the Custom Tour and would recommend it to anyone. My mom is scared of the ocean and my brother is hesitant, I am the only one who is an avid snorkeler/free diver. So i was so suprised that the crew and team felt them feel so comfortable that they went in diving with the whale sharks several times with me! It was an easy boat trip out to the whale sharks and the guide was very knowledgeable and caring. She made us feel safe the whole time and this is probably the only tour where you get the whole boat to yourself. So you can dive in as often as you like. I thought the rate was affordable because if you split it evenly with just a few other people it comes to be the same price as a crowded public tour, except this is private. The crew also got many professional underwater photos of us (free!) so that we can share and always remember this experience!

The Custom Tour “My Snorkel Tour” was the highlight of our week in Mexico. Kat and Diego took care of all the details. They were both very knowledgeable and it felt like a day out with friends. We never felt rushed and thoroughly enjoyed each stop. Kat took pictures throughout the tour so we could focus on what we were experiencing rather than documenting it.
The cenotes were beautiful and refreshing with so many unique formations, plants, and wildlife. The sea turtle visit was at a crowded park but Kat navigated through it easily making it feel more private for us. The lagoon was full of beautiful fish. Lunch was delicious and had a beautiful view.
We could not have asked for anything better. Thanks for a fabulous day!

From start to finish, this is a fabulous tour group. Rod is extremely helpful and his crew is friendly and well knowledgeable. We have used this tour company twice and do not plan to use anyone else when we go to Playa del Carmen.

We loved this tour! Our group of 11 people ranging in age from 15-75 had a great day with Kat and Benjamin. We toured the coba ruins on bicycle, so fun and informative, even the teenage boys enjoyed it and then had a beautiful lunch by the ocean! We finished our day exploring Kats favorite cenote. Kat and Benjamin were awesome guides, the day was very well planned, we seemed to beat the crowds everywhere. I was also very impressed with Rods communication, he was on top of everything very quickly and made the tour easy to plan and change as needed. It was our favorite group activity on vacation. Do it, you won’t regret it!

Rod was amazingly flexible as we planned our tour. We originally planned to travel with a large group but ended up just being my husband and I. With limited time in Cozumel during a trip on the Freedom of the Seas, we wanted to get to a cenote or two. The offerings through the cruise ship were an 8-10 hour committment and came along with other stops that we didn't want - and TCT was the perfect solution! I received a text from Rod on the morning of our tour and he even sent me a picture of the tour guide (Kat) so I would know who I was looking for when our ferry arrived in Playa Del Carmen. Kat was exactly as pictured and easy to locate once we got off of the ferry.

Kat walked us through the ferry terminal to the van waiting for us. We drove to the cenote park (amazing - a must see!) and took our time swimming and viewing the beautiful scenery. A surprise to us, Kat came with her camera and took some amazing photos of us and the scenery so that we didn't need to worry about capturing the memories, instead we just enjoyed.

Now, lunch - we went to La Lunitas on Half Moon Bay and this was almost as incredible as the cenote portion! Amazing views of the clear blue water in a quiet town. Lunch was some of the best mexican I've ever had (+ the margaritas went down easy as well!) We loved it so much that we want to spend our next vacation in the small town by La Lunitas.

We returned early for the ferry we needed to catch to get back on the cruise ship, which put my husband at ease. Kat and our driver took great care to keep us on time as they knew it was very important to get us back to the ship on time.

I would highly recommend TCT and ask for Kat!

Our experience was AMAZING!! So so so fun and we will definitely be going again in the summer! Kat was our tour guide and Benjamin was our driver and they were the best. They were so sweet throughout the whole day of adventuring. We were picked up from our hotel to make everything easier, then taken first to go swimming at sunrise with turtles! This was so fun and we got so close to the turtles in their natural habitat! We then went to the Mayan ruins in Tulum which was so interesting and beautiful. Kat was so knowledgeable and we had so much fun learning all about the Mayan culture. Our next stop was ziplining, canoeing, and swimming in the cenotes which was fun, exciting, and so refreshing. We finished off the day with a delicious Mayan lunch. Overall, the day was so amazing. We also got our pictures from the day very quickly and they came out beautifully. We will definitely be booking again and will recommend this tour to EVERYONE!!! Thank you Custom Tour for a perfect day and extra thank you to Kat and Benjamin for making our day so special!!! :)
