Interesting market. The surroundings are safe. You can find some handicrafts with local characteristics. But be aware the price sometimes is negotiable.

Well staying in Playa del Carmen we visited the PlayaCar center many times for different things that we needed. The pharmacy there was very helpful with anything that you wanted to buy. The people that had the silver store were super nice And give me a shot of some kind of tequila lol.

This place is very close to the Wyndham Hotels (both Maya and Azteca), Riu and Playa Allegro. If you are looking for souvenirs then look no more! You will find them in all shapes, colors, sizes. I can't comment on the prices because I did not buy anything. There is a Starbucks quite close and there is a car rental agency, a couple restaurants and a 7/11 nearby.

A place worth visiting.A great inscription to take a photo with this place, starting from the hotel, find out about the prices and then have a comparison in the city. Very nice, few rubbish bins, but no rubbish in the area, on the ground or grass. I recommend.

A few shops with lots of shopping options. Good for souvenirs. Great coffee shop located in the ground floor with a decent taco stand beside it.

Its a nice center. I would recomment asking the prices from the vendors outside, then comparing with the stores. I found it was a bit cheaper for cigars at the shop instead of the vendors. Bring cash. Bargain. There are beautiful things over there very cute hand made leather purse and bags

Wonderful little shopping plaza for anything you need. Visit Marci (Marcella) at the the tour/excursion stand closest to Starbucks. She arranged wonderful tours for me at a fraction of the cost that my hotel wanted! She is truly wonderful and even gave me her number so I could text with any questions. There is a 7/11 and also a small pharmacy where you can purchase medicine, bug spray and sunblock for a decent price. The vendors are more than happy to bargain with you. Also massage for $35 a person!
