Second time here. Love it. We brought our two older boys for spring break and they had a great time too. Everything and everyone is so wonderful. The staff is very attentive, the amenities are stellar. The beach and the water is perfect. We highly recommend this all inclusive resort for your next family vacation. There's something for everyone.

Service is great, rooms are very nice, bit outdated here and there, hotel could use a little makeover. Food and beverages are good!
Luis, best waiter in the hotel, made our evenings complete! He is so professional. Rest of the staff was also very kindly!
One of the best things from the day where the aqua gym lessons from J O E - Joe ????
Every day i was excited for the next lesson! He did it amazing and with so much energy that he could really make you smile during the workout.
Thanks riu for a amazing holiday!

Riu palace Mexico is a great trip. Food was good, I wish they would have a hibachi “cook in front of you” restaurant. Pools were awesome, staff is very friendly. Resort is clean. They had some activity’s through out the day for kids to participate which was nice. I only have one complaint and that is the shower in the rooms. The drain always clogged up. Only one question and maybe someone will respond.. walking down the middle of resort I noticed in a few room buildings on the corner it appeared that it was a room with a spiral staircase going up to next floor. Is that a room available to rent or is that for like owners?

The staff at Riu was exceptional and treated us like family. We stayed for a total of 7 days always greeted with a smile and how is your day. The rooms and resort are kept very clean. The Riu White party was a blast. The restaurants offers good/decent food. Beach service was on point most days. I did not finish my first drink before they arrived with a tray of drinks.

Staff went above and beyond. Upon arrival, they welcome you with fresh tropical juice on ice, which was so refreshing after a long day of travel and standing around in the hot México sun. They insist on taking your bags and the front desk staff is always kind and helpful. A family member accidentally took my room key and they replaced it for me with a smile.

The swim up bar was where I hung out the most and Remy, the bartender, was superb. He was on top of everything. He noticed who needed drinks, remembered what you were drinking, had other employees get things as needed, and was fun to interact with. He was like a well-oiled machine behind that bar!

The decor is dated. The rooms are dingy, but clean. The pools and beach are great. The fresh fruit and seafood at the buffets are the best part. The restaurants aren't worth the time. The adjacent resorts, like Tequila, might be better options. I didn't see the rooms but the rest of Tequila looked nicer than Palace.

Honestly I believe this should be rated 4 star resort due to the building and rooms. At the first we’ve checked in in the regular type room. It was unreasonably small and old. We upgraded to the best possible room with two floors . It’s still was just okay. I’ve stayed in 4 stars resorts where rooms were newer and bigger.

Food was one of the best I’ve ever had . I’ve been to Mexico over 20 times for the last 7 years so Ive got something to compare with. Even though my girlfriend has a food poisoning last night, I still believe the variety and taste of the food is amazing.

Personal is great most of the time. However last night when my girlfriend got food poisoning I had to run to the reception and ask for medicine which they didn’t have. They also mislead me stating that there is no open pharmacy till 7am. I did my own search and it was at least 3 open pharmacies within 3kms. This was really unpleasant for me.

This resort is for older people for sure. No parties , pools are closed at 9am along with most of the bars. However there’s 5 other riu around which you can go to for some fun.

Thank you for the accommodations if the rooms were newer and bigger and no unpleasant experience with reception it would be 5 starts
