Great resort! Our room was 2 separate beds put together which was strange but it worked. They make you wear masks in outdoor restaurants but only to walk around not to sit. They also only do temperature checks at breakfast, also strange. Overall a great place and hopefully the next time we come back the mask rule will be gone!

This hotel is very good.
The buffet has plenty of food and has a lot of variety (including vegetarian and vegan options). Besides the main restaurant, it also has other thematic restaurants (the Asian one is excellent!).
The hotel in general is very clean and organized. The only thing I would say is that the rooms are a little bit outdated, but they are comfortable. The rooms are always clean and the mini bar is filled everyday (thank you to all the camareros for the amazing work).
I would also like to highlight the animation in the hotel. There are always activities going on and the animation crew is amazing (congratulations and thank you to all).
I would recommend this hotel.

I stayed here in May 2022 for 11 nights and have been meaning to do a review ever since!! Honestly such an amazing resort, I would recommend this to anyone, the drinks, food, staff and vibes are amazing! Literally I cannot fault anything, the only thing I would say is it does get loud at night (until about 11pm) so maybe not a place for babies but other than that it was a totally wonderful stay. The cocktails are amazing, and the bar staff by the pool will pretty much make you anything you ask for. There are so many different restaurants, really liked the steakhouse and the main one and the lunch options in La margarita are amazing (DIY taco station), and there is a white party and neon party every Friday in Riu tequila opposite which you can attend if staying here (and also use their facilities). Hotel is on the beach so you can walk down it for a good hour also

We had a great time here. The hotel was very clean, the bartenders were amazing and so nice! The beach was very close and you will never be bored with all of the activities that the resort has to offer.

Also- the food is AMAZING.

A number of things went wrong here. At first the toilet in our room didn’t flush so we had to get a plumber in once to fix it. It then broke again so had to get the plumber in a second time. Secondly, our shower was temperamental and never went the right temperature, only super warm or freezing cold. Then our safe with all of our excursion tickets, my laptop, and our passports would not open so we had to get a technician in for over an hour while he tried to open it (he said it was pure luck that he managed to open it - he wasn’t even a licensed technician - just the restaurant manager). The food has been very average and after two weeks we got so bored of it, as it is the same food every day with no variety. The cleaning ladies took our hand soap and took ages to bring us a new one, I had to stay in my room for all of this time as I need hand soap to wear my contact lenses. The only reason why I didn’t give it one star was the entertainer called Gustavo who was the funniest person I have ever met and made my whole holiday. Overall I am greatly disappointed with the hotel and won’t be coming back.

Hotel nice and very clean, staff are friendly and always appear happy. Food always fresh and can be seen cooking at stations. Different restaurants to eat at and location is right on the beach as well as a 10 min walk to some shops. Would recommend and would stay here again.

A true gem of a resort in Playa Del Carmen. Clean well kept facilities with kind workers providing great service. Very good food with great drink service as well. Right on the beach and at a value price. We'll be back often.
