Such a great place to stay! It’s simple but very comfortable - just perfect. I love their inside lush garden around the pool - makes it for a great place to relax.

Their staff’s helpfulness is one of their best traits. They’re always available to help any time you need.

STORY: on one of the days, we had the awful experience of being robbed of everything we had - documents, moneys and all - in one of the region’s water parks. When we came back to the hotel, and told them, we were so touched by their concern. They offered to serve us their breakfast food throughout our days so we wouldn’t go hungry. How lovely is that?! We didn’t need the favor as we had a couple of credit cards left in the room. But we were so touched!

Oh oh oh location! Awesome! Right in the heart of Playa Del Carmen, and yet, once you’re inside, you can’t hear the noise of the city.

Imagine flying in from Canada. Taking a shuttle from Cancun Airport with two young kids only to have this hotel lose your reservation and have no room available. The receptionist cannot speak any English and literary does not aid us at all to finding any lodging. We literary were thrown into the street. No available rooms in Playa d Carmen so we took an axpensive taxi ride to a resort out of town costing hundreds of dollars. I had all documents to prove this room was paid for but this hotel did not care ..horrible

Basic accommodations at a great price. Location is perfect, the people here are great. Breakfast is incredibly good too. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Certainly one of the worst experience.

About the noise: Even though we were not looking for something specifically nice when we booked the hotel, we thought it was ok since we just wanted to sleep and not stay in the hotel during the day. However, we were not able to sleep AT ALL because of the NOISE. The noise of the street was annoying but there were also a group of people IN the hotel (in the common area outside at the breakfast place) listening to music with speaker and singing between midnight and 3 am + people talking on phone on speaker in the corridors and so on. The hotel staff never said anything even if they were located at the reception all night, thus I had to go out of my room and ask them myself to stop the music at 3 am. We originally booked 2 night and had to leave after the first night cause we were not able to sleep. The hotel didn't agree to give us the money back for the second night even if we left the hotel and asked us to do it through booking. We contacted Booking to get the refund, when Booking called the hotel, they lied and said that the noise was coming from outside.

About the staff: The staff of the hotel is very unprofessional. It looks like they don't care about anything and are not nice at all. If you are looking for an hotel close to the fifth avenue even though it is just for sleep, don't book this one!

The location is obviously great and very central. On the downside the rooms are outdated. It may also be very hard to fall asleep as nearby bars play very loud music until deep into the night. Be aware of what you are getting, when you book.

If I could give this negative 3 stars I would. Our hotel room TV did not work along with the air conditioner. Two nights without ANY AC out of the 5 night stay. The breakfast was very limited and what was there wasnt very good. Im convinced the breakfast food gave my boyfriend and I food poisoning. We told staff about the the issues and they tried to help and managed to fix the AC but it still broke a few days later. The TV wasnt an option anymore. Its very loud at night since there are clubs and bars all around the area. The pool was nice and the staff was too. This was the only down fall of my experience here.
