Things started off really nicely here as they brought a delicious shot of fish broth as a free starter.
Then it went downhill pretty fast.
We accidentally ordered a different dish since the waiter and us couldn’t understand each other very well. When the dish came, I immediately told her we meant to order smth else and there must have been a misunderstanding. Asked if we can replace but she refused. I asked to ask a manager. She came back saying they still can’t replace it. No respectable restaurant would do this. This was also a simple fish dish, not something expensive that you can’t just send back to the kitchen to make a customer satisfied.
The next failure was a shrimp cocktail which came with… wait for it — frozen shrimps. They were one of those tiny cooked frozen shrimps you buy in a bag in a supermarket. The half that wasn’t frozen were chewy, flavorless and basically inedible. I sighed and proceeded to ask for a manager again; this time he agreed to take it off the menu. Curiously, he didn’t seem to be surprised that they were frozen and swiftly offered to replace it which means it must have happened before.
Their fish soup was decent but, again, the seafood was not fresh, tiny, chewy and the broth itself was too salty and lacked depth (we added the spicy oil that was on the table and it’s gotten noticeably better).
