We had a great time watching live music, sitting outside, and enjoying LARGE and CHEAP beers! It’s a bit of a strange thought to have this Irish pub here, but somehow it works. I was curious and wanted a snack so I thought I would try the wings. They were incredible! Smaller than the wings you get in the US but so much more flavor. Probably because they didn’t have a bunch of hormones in them. Great spot to relax and simply just enjoy your vacation that doesn’t get too rowdy with the youth. :)

Good to watch sports and to listen rock music, the food and the beer is regular, most of the draft beer it's diltuted with water

Nice space. But about as authentic as my uncle Franky in drag. 1 litre beers? Why?

Horrible frat party rock music plays at full blast during the day. Yet everyone is trying to watch the sport. Know your customers!!??

Irish pub in the busiest street of Playa del Carmen. Warm Beer and Cold Food.

It’s definitely overprice, the service leaves a lot to wish for. Very unfriendly and when Ask for another drink or condiments they act as if you ask them something imposible.
-I ask for Tabasco sauce when I order my Burgers and they didn’t have, instead they charge extra for a habanero sauce. That’s a disgrace in the restaurant business.
-The buns of the burgers where barely warm, one was stale
-We order a bucket of beers and those kept cold but the first sip was warm. A horrible experience
- I order a draft beer expecting the be colder but I was rewarded with another semi cold beer.
The only decent thing was the live music singer

•Mc Carthy’s falls short in almost every aspect. Unless you are desperate and can’t find the other gazillion options of better restaurants in Playa del Carmen, go for it. But I cannot recommend it.

Food is good in this place, one time we ordered a Burger and boneless and they were very good, they have different food deals every day.
The only thing I really don't like is that is a good place, good restaurant But if you go to the restroom they look like if you were in the market. They are very bad maintained and looks like they don't clean them. I'm really disappointed of this part, don't understand how a big and good place like this have theylir restrooms as bad as if you were public restroom were nobody cares about it.
This is why I put 2 stars, but the food deserves 4 stars.

Good place to people watch on La Quinta Avenida with multiple tables outdoors. Typical bar food, boneless wings had good flavor and reasonably priced considering the location. Bathroom was not clean.

Dive bar, live rock music, pretty awesome for older crowds. We couldn't find a open table at the bottom Floor so we had to go to the second. Service was good.
