This place is the worst you could ever book. We apparently booked the best among all the rooms and we couldn't stand the mould everywhere, stinky room, algae infected swimming pool.
Lift doesn't function and by the looks of it hasn't been for a long time so was hell going in and out with a baby.
Oh gosh, the breakfast was just half an egg scrambled with ham. That is the only breakfast you get as part of your booking and the a cup of coffee. Staff was rude except the receptionist who was nice.
And you pay for parking at the hotel!

Hotel in great area near 5th street on busy touristy location. Parking for a fee. Breakfast includes 1 scrambled egg, 1 spoon size of black beans, 1 piece of toast, choice of coffee or OJ and 3 extra small pieces of delicious potatoes. This is the included breakfast. Was still hungry afterwards. Jacuzzi did not work, towels are exchanged every 3rd day. No elevator. Hot water works. First day room includes 2 small waters and afterwards they will not give you any. I asked for a water and the girl at front desk said "No". Don't think I will choose this hotel again. Pool was dirty with many leaves and no cleaning.

Highly do not recommend. First off- the staff ARE friendly. In fact great service from the staff! However, the hotel policies are crazy. $100 per hour if you don’t check out on time. Tried to check out at 12:25pm and they wanted to charge me $100. That is almost the price of an entire night for checking out 25 minutes late. Secondly, their policy clearly states that if you leave your belongings there by accident- they will charge you to retrieve them. Like WHAT?! Wild. Our room was the size of a glorified walk in closet. They provided us with ONE shower towel, no face clothes etc. Their rooms are not even comparable to the photos you see online. Saaaaave your money and pay an extra $30 a night to stay on a resort with amazing accommodations. Do. Not. Waste. Your. Money.

I enjoyed my room, I just wish the pool temperature was cooler. Overall good stay, close to everything.

Nice rooms. Beautiful pool. Great location. If you want peace and quiet this is NOT the place. Its next door to a cool bar called Bar Loco.

The reception guy called the cops on us because my friend came up for his wallet. This is a jail, not an hotel. Police had a good laugh.

Excellent experience .great hotel .very well located . Marie @ (Font desk) did a great and professional job .I highly recommend this Spot in playa del Carmen .
