This place is a great stop for lunch on your 5th Ave journey. Fajitas and club sandwich were both great. A good location helps as well. The staff were good but a little inattentive. My wine glass was empty for about 8 minutes and I finally had to wave it in the air to get the waiters attention lol. Anyway, we enjoyed the food and atmosphere for an afternoon stop. So many great places in Playa and this is a little gem. I cannot speak to the dinner environment. We like casual for lunch and more refined for dinner but in a pinch this would do for dinner as well. Stop in and have a bite to eat folks. Nothing to lose here. Our total cost for fajitas, club sandwich, two Corona and two vino blanco was 750mxn including tip of 15% that we provided. The food and drinks were worth the cost.

Food: Was wayyyy better than I expected. I stopped in for breakfast and ordered a veggie omelet with fruit and toast — it was huge and by far one of the best I’ve had in all of Playa del Carmen

Service: was outstanding, they were super friendly and quick

Atmosphere: outdoor seating

Pricing: to be expected on 5th but better than other places given the amount of food received

This sign on the bar opposite made us giggle !! Street performers right outside while we enjoy a nice drink

*edit* they tip themselves here! if you put down a tip, you will be typing them twice!

ALSO if you accidentally leave your cellphone at your table, when you come back it will be gone with no offer to get your phone back AFTER you've already double tipped inadvertently

and they'll extort you for as much as they feel they can get

Tried breakfast here. Not really tasty. Great location that gets a big volume of goers. It's because of the good food. It's the location. Try it if you have to.

Tried to scam me by saying card was declined. Looked on ap and saw transaction was successful. Paid in dollars and now have to dispute charge and hope I get my money back. Ridiculous way to make money.
