This restaurant was very clean, the food was great and had great service! Went with a group so everyone ordered something different. We had the opportunity to try a lot of different foods. Highly Recommend.

The service is terrible. During my vacation, my partner and I wanted sushi and this place was near our hotel. We had just gotten back from an excursion, we were starving and had on sports clothes. The host said our attire needed to be more dressy casual, specially my partner. So, since I had an “ok”, my boyfriend ran to our hotel to change and returned. Our waiter greeted us, brought us water, took our orders, and 10-15 mins later the host returned to ask if we were guests at the hotel there, and since we weren’t, they said they couldn’t serve us. She didn’t even apologize, I mentioned we already ordered, she rolled her eyes, she was just rude! I don’t recommend it, don’t waste your time.

If you're staying at the Hilton Playa del Carmen, make sure to make a reservation at Asiana as soon as you can, the restaurant is fabulous and everyone knows it so the reservations get booked quickly. Make sure to try the sushi while you're here, it doesnt disappoint. I cant wait to go back and try it again!

While not a big selection, they do have good sushi, including a catch of the day. Nice sake selection too. We love eating out on their patio.
