I cannot rave enough about this medical group! I have had the privilege of being a patient of the General Dr, OBGYN, Endochronolgist and others in the practice. Every single visit I have felt heard, supported, educated and cared for. My visits have lasted at times more than an hour as doctors analyzed my blood work, looked for concerns and took the time to explain things in a way that I could understand, plan and prepare.

I can't say enough positive things about the entire PlayaMD team.

Excellent Urologist. Very knowledgable, and super kind and patient in explaining everything that is going on. Unlike some other Doctors in Playa, he really seems to love his work, and loves to help people and takes the time to make 100% sure you are clear about your situation. He was explaining everything to me in Spanish, and repeated himself 3 times or so to make sure I got it. I appreciated that.

Great guy, would go back if I still had problems. (Although of course I hope to never see him again as a client!)

I’ve been living in Playa del Carmen for a month u0026 arrived with a brown recluse spider bite wound that was still not fully healed. I was worried about the progress I was making, so I asked a friend for a doctor who I could speak to in English. She highly recommended Dr. Francisco Aguirre. That same day I went to see Dr. Aguirre. He was so helpful, kind, u0026 knowledgeable. He explained everything perfectly u0026 gave me good, practical advice. Everything went smoothly u0026 the wound is now healed. I would definitely come back to this office.

While visiting Mexico the CDC regulations changed to return to the US and I needed to visit a dr to be able to return. The office was very prompt in answering my questions through WhatsApp and were fluent in English. They were able to get me in the next day. The dr and his staff were kind and quick and I was able to take care of my needs for a very reasonable price.

Fresh off the plane from California and I injured my foot..The amazing doctor at Hospiten referred me to
MD+ Playa for physical therapy on my fractured foot.. I am beyond grateful for the awesome therapy I received from my physical therapist Christopher!!
He was knowledgeable, experienced in his field and explained my injury and the extent of the treatment needed to get my foot healed...My foot felt stronger after each session! A huge ‘thank you’ to Dr. Lugo,
the incredibly sweet, friendly and caring office manager Sac, and of course, my therapist Christopher....I thank you all in helping to get my foot healed so that I can continue my travels throughout beautiful Mexico!! Adios for now!!????

Amazing place and service from Dr. Raul Sosa Villarreal, the gynecologist. I showed up without an appointment and they fit me in. He really took the time to understand my state of health and was very professional, capable, and trustworthy. He also spoke perfect English which made it easier. Highly recommend.

We were seen by Dr. Cesar Pinto. We are Canadians who were visiting Mexico for 3 months.
My 9 month old daughter had a high fever and blisters all over her body. We came here and we were told that she had chicken pox. Since our baby was so sick and we were terrified, we wanted a second opinion. We went to another Dr. at another location who said that she had Hand Foot And Mouth and that it was certainly NOT chicken pox. Again worried parents, we decided to go with his opinion and gave her the medicine that he prescribed. BIG MISTAKE. She got worse and her fever would not go down.
Embarrassed that we didn't believe Dr. Pinto, yet hopeless, we decided to go back to him again. He was not offended, he was very understanding and said that it was chicken pox and explained why it was not Hand Food and Mouth. He was so calm and really seemed like he loved working with children. He even gave my son a lollipop for being so patient. He gave us the prescription and said that he wanted us to come back to take a look at how she was progressing. He showed genuine concern and it was not to "make a profit" especially since the rates were actually very affordable.
Best of all he was very knowledgeable in what he was saying and didn't get impatient while I was asking questions, I wish we believed him in the first place and put our ignorance aside.
