Bokanova has truly earned its excellent reputation. I needed extensive dental work, and was incredibly nervous about it. Dr. Gruber handled my four root canals expertly—between his skill and bedside manner, it was a painless and almost pleasant experience, as crazy as that sounds. Dr. Esteban is also great at calming down a difficult patient and he's an artist when it comes restoration. My root canal teeth look 100 percent natural. The dentists here are also conservative—they won't do anymore work than you need, and they save as much of your natural teeth as possible. Best decision I made was to go here for the work I was dreading. Thank you!

Best dental experience I’ve ever had in Mexico. I’ve been to their office 3 times now for some major dental work and Dr Esteban is world class! English speaking, friendly staff, good price and makes their patients feel comfortable through the entire process - highly recommend - thanks!

We traveled for a vacation in Playa Del Carmen and booked for a small procedure and dental maintenance. The environment is impeccably clean, and the staff is very professional!
My wife and I will be back in the future if we ever need any dental work done. We highly recommend this clinic. 5⭐️ thank you!! !! ????

Excellent work, top machines and office. I have spent my life in the dental chair due car accident damage to my upper jaw and teeth as a teen. These dentists are top notch and are constantly able to handle my huge dental challenges which need a lot of creativity and talent. Thank you Bokanova!!!!

A word of warning to anyone getting a bridge done at Bocanova by the dentist and owner of this establishment in Playa del Carmen….DON’T DO IT!! My bridge broke twice! I returned the first time and of course, if you’re familiar with how Mexicans do business, they never admit fault to anything!! Dr Barragan, told me that I had a cavity they rat the place of the break to charge me more money, while replacing the bridge at no additional charge so I said, okay fine. The second time the bridge broke of course he blamed the manufacturer. Dr. Barragan placed a temporary bridge and asked me to give my gums some time to heal. Well, a week later the temporary bridge breaks before I had time to return for the second replacement! Dr. Barragan comes across as charming and very nice. But the entire time he’s worked on me he is very talkative with his assistant while he worked on me each time. Hell’s not a good dentist and I highly recommend you stay away from this clinic for any major dental work. The dental hygienist is very good at cleaning your teeth. I am now in the states and even though I am returning to Playa del Carmen in a week, I will not return to see Dr. Barragan. I will be getting my bridge repaired in the USA! I do not recommend Bokanova at all for any major dental work!! Money down the drain!!

I have been going to Bokanova for several years now, and each time is another wonderful experience. Dr Heysi was so gentle and thorough. These dentists are special, and care about the comfort of their clients. Highly recommend - and the prices are very reasonable too!

had a lovely experience at Bokanova. came in for a cleaning and to replace a chipped amalgam filling with composite. after filling out a little bit of paperwork, i was seen right away. my dentist was very friendly and considerate. only cost MX$2000, which i consider incredibly cheap compared to my home city. i will certainly return for any future dental work needs.
