Went to La Noche Blanca festival. Great local park. Restaurants and tiendas surround the park. The Yucatecan Folk museum can be found here too.

This historic square is an ideal place to take a little break amongst its shady trees. In the center of the plaza is the monument of the Niños Heroes. It features the sculpture of an eagle and six bronze figures that represent the teenage cadets who are reported to have sacrificed their lives in the 1847 battle of Chapultepec against invading U.S forces.

I would not go out of my way to visit this park. It's nice, but if you are being hit with middle of the day heat you will definitely melt at this park.

Not too big. Great museum near by. Had flowers for day of the dead.

It's a very cozy and quiet park. Some days nature exhibitions are held and you can observe people practicing dance. It has trees that provide good leftovers and benches to rest. Nearby there are shops to buy ice cream and popsicles

It's a quiet square that used to have gardens in the centre but they have now been removed allowing locals to use. It's nice to see locals meeting, practising dance moves, skateboarding etc.
Two good restaurants in the square; Los Alamandros, a full dining experience and La Pizzateria for coffee and beer during the day and Pizza at night. ( Pardon my spelling) Also has a Coffee and Books cafe. There's an Art Museum just around the corner.
