You cannot come to Merida Yuc, and not visit Los Almendros. It is a place of traditional taste and gathering. I recommend their home specialties and “Jugos Naturales” to get your day or evening going. The staff, just like about every establishment in Merida is friendly and courteous. Located a few blocks from the city center, makes this a convenient walk without having to grab a taxi.

A local place, without a doubt the best local food. Price ratio was also excellent, location was great and food was perfect.
Yesterday I went to Chaya maya, but los Almendros is MUCH MUCH BETTER than the other place.

Service was excellent too.

My wife and I ate there for the last night we were in Merida. I had the Relleno Negro, it was complex in taste, a bit spicy, a real delight. It was Sunday afternoon early dinner, but there was a good crowd. It was highly recommend, and I must say it was some of the best I had the pleasure to try.

Sopa de Lima here is out of this world! I will definitely be back for a full entree and to try all their other delicious menu items!

Great food, authentic Yucatec food, prices are good, very romantic, good service, great flavors, also very clean and pretty location.
