Had a lovely stay at this hotel in May 2022. Leo was kind, attentive and provided many recommendations of places to go and see. The room was sweet and nicely furnished with a cool shower with amazing water pressure. The overall design and furnishing of the hotel is unique and pleasant to be in with a great ambience. A friend of mine had forgotten an item of jewellery, and Leo came on bike to the bus station to drop it off, this was thoughtful. We also had some travel issues and Leo and his staff were happy to help us even after we checked out. Thanks Leo for a great stay! I would love to visit again :) Vive la France!

What an amazing experience! My husband and I did our 2 first nights of our Yucatán trip and came back for our last night, flying in and out of Mérida. La Piazzetta is conveniently located near everything, especially amazing food, but tucked away from the busy center. Exceptionally clean. The decor truly adds to the tranquil yet eclectic vibe. What is most commendable is the Piazzetta family. The owner and his family truly gives personal care and amazing attentiveness you will not find in any other hotel. The experience was very much like staying with a wonderful host family, but with hotel amenities. Highly recommend if you want personalized experience. Thank you Leo!

Leo has made us feel like home! He gives you great tips on where to eat and things to see. We also loved the accommodation itself. The room is clean, good shower, good bed, nice patio and every night a cold bottle of water. Hope we can come back some day

We spent four nights here at the start of our honeymoon - we actually extended our stay because we loved it so much, which was largely down to the amazing staff, Leo and Augustine. They are so welcoming and friendly, and thanks to Leo’s fluent English, we got a real insider’s view of what to do and see in Mérida. The hotel has loads of character - full of plants and two cute cats - and the rooms are peaceful and clean. We would recommend 100%, thanks again Piazzetta! Tom u0026 Róisín

Beautiful cute hotel at a nice quiet square close to the center. Leo and his staff are super friendly and really made us feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again!

One of the best hotel you can find in Yucatán. If you want to pass at least a couple of days in Merida you have to choose this special place.

I can't say enough positive about this sweet hotel! Lovely and helpful owners/hosts, the room was super clean and cozy. There were many lovely additions to the room (bookshelves with books, little table, nice shower), all practical and at the same time charming. Good value for price.
