I have to be honest in my review and well we enjoyed our stay in Merida there is much room for improvement.
We decided to splurge on a "boutique hotel" and quickly realized it's simply a small Hotel.

Check in was awkward and very slow with the standard long wait time as our room was apparently not cleaned yet. 3pm check in time came and went still no room, no information about the hotel or breakfast options, local area, etc.

The 4 common kitchens are for show only. No utensils, pots, pans, kettle or coffee machine. They do have a fridge and toaster and a great table, but useless to actually cook anything. Ice bucket but they don't have ice?

Breakfast was nice, simple fruit, yogurt toast coffee (watered down) Juice.
Location perfect, tranquil ambiance, comfortable bed, spotless clean.

For 40% less I would stay 40 meters away in a regular hotel.

It was the most pathetic service we have known. The beds were awful and the pillows totally un presentable. Breakfast service was terrible. The bathrooms stink. I would never stay here again. We do not recommend this hotel. We saw the cleaning ladies sleeping on our beds and the administration did nothing. They only apologized.
The only good thing is it’s location.

Didn't have a good experience. Room was good size, however bathroom smelt horrible and some wall outlet were not working and problem with hot and cold water in shower

Very pleasant staff and available for any questions. Continental breakfast (simple and very good) included in the price of the room.

Super séjour à l'hôtel Art 64 de Merida. Très bien situé, chambre grande et confortable dans un immeuble typique et très coloré. Super piscine, nous avons pu nous baigner seuls les deux jours.
Personnel très agréable et à disposition pour toutes questions. Petit déjeuner continental (simple et très bon) inclus dans le prix de la chambre.
