Both myself and my girlfriend had a great time at this resort. The food was excellent for the most part and for a resort in Mexico it was by far the high quality of cuisine we had both had. We tried all of the restaurants and the Italian and Mexican were our favourites. The pools were great with each apartment complex having their own pool. We were lucky to have a ground floor pool we could swim right out of our back door. The only downsides really was the beach was kind of rocky in the water and not very big. They also had a bit of a seaweed issue the first couple days we were there. The only other issue we could think of was they rented our pool area out a couple days to wedding parties but we just went to the beach anyways. Overall great experience, excellent bartenders and excellent service by the staff across the board.

This hotel was good. I like the decor better in the downtown location, but it is definitely bigger. There are some hidden unknown charges like the Marley coffee so beware. The front desk should tell you that when you check in especially when it's an all-inclusive hotel (not so all-inclusive). The food wasn't that great. Only the Mediterranean restaurant was delicious. The other staff was super nice and helpful. As previously stated, front desk should work on their customer service skills.

Had an amazing experience here! The food was fantastic. The service and servers were extraordinary! One of our favorites was Ivan at the Adult pool bar!
The one thing I would improve is the ability to get grab and go food else where on the resort. Near the beach they have tons of options. However by most of the other pools you have to go sit down and that takes up to 45 minutes to an hour during prime afternoon time. Especially when all you want is some quick finger food to hold you over for dinner.

The staff is the friendliest and most accommodating you'll ever have. Everyone is so nice and helpful. The location is beautiful, the premises are well-maintained, the pools are clean and warm and well-designed, and the monkeys on site add that touch of vacation vibe you didn't know you needed.

I subtracted a star simply because some of the rooms have old bathrooms with leaks in the wall and there should be more knobs to hang wet clothes on the wall.

But my god, the housekeepers do a fantastic job. It was a great experience overall and I strongly recommend the visit. You won't regret it.

Got married here with a party of 62. Overall was a great experience and we had an amazing time. Resort is a good size. We had a private candlelit dinner on the beach and that was awesome, best food we had during visit. Only cons would be that some rooms needed renovation, the size was great but ours had issues. They did attend to our issues. Also they CRANK out weddings. Our space had 2 weddings with only 1-hour in-between which was stressful and put us behind schedule, but it all came together. Have to be understanding that it isn't just your special day that day.

Wonderful bars and multiple places to eat. Night life was alive and well. Buffet, catered foods, and burger and fry establishments. Nicely decorated and going through with some improvements. Hours weren't accurately posted on signage, some places required masks to come in but that wasn't known until arrival at the restaurant. Native wildlife is intermingled within the resort, so enjoy but don't feed. Bring bug spray and also June is the rainy season so it was seaweed all over the beach, so much so it had to be shoveled out.

Depending on the color band on your wrist depicts the level of treatment/catering received. Be ready to walk depending on how far your suite is from the events. Most excursions leave early in the morning so take all needed items with you. Visit the beach the first day to go ahead and get a beach towel, because they can run out of clean towels.

Looking forward to visiting next year to see the improvements made to the suites and establishment.

This vacation was for myself and some childhood girlfriends. We celebrated our milestone birthdays this year here. From the very beginning it's been a whirlwind sight to see and just all around great time with my friends. We did a spa experience and it was so special we felt so pampered and catered to. The fives is all inclusive we just paid for incidentals, add-ons and Spa time. I would definitely come back here, and just to Mexico! Overall this was a great experience. I would definitely recommend the fives Beach hotel and resort, it's a great location right off the beach. My room was amazing really way too big for one person but it was nice to feel like Cleopatra for a week ❤️????
