My wife and I visited today to check them out. I'm so glad we did. Danny was our server and greeted us as if we were family. All the staff was pleasant and we even had a chance to meet the owner. The food was on point! We had jerk chicken tacos, jerk chicken pasta, Mac and cheese, plantains and rum pudding. Everything was delicious and met our expectations. Next time we are in town we will definitely make a stop here.

This place is great! The food is amazing and the service is even better! I can't thank Danny, our server, enough for being so accommodating for us dining with our 11 month old baby in a fairly large stroller. The atmosphere is very authentic so it's not a large place, and on an afternoon where it started pouring raining within minutes of our arrival, Danny and the crew at Rockas worked quickly to get everyone served and keep them dry. The jerk chicken and pasta were delicious and my baby loved the fresh mango slices! Great food, drinks, and service, will definitely return and highly recommend!

AMAZING restaurant!!! Food, flavour and vibes were fantastic from the moment we arrived. I recommend making a reservation through Instagram as this place gets super busy and customers are willing to wait for a table. The owners run the show and give a personal touch to every diner seated. Flavour explosions with every bite and the food came out within a reasonable time and great temperature. Will definitely be back for more!

We went here on recommendation from our friends that went a few weeks before us and the numerous excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. What can I say... EXCELLENT!

The service is quick and the customer service is outstanding. We were able to meet the owner, who came by to personally welcome us.

The food was amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. If you can get here when in Mexico, please go.

You will have a 5-Star experience.

This is the best restaurant in Playa del carmen.
The food is delicious, exquisite. It's so good that I've been there 3 times in a week. If it's your first time there, try the jerk chicken, it's my favorite.
The staff is very nice. The cocktails are delicious. The barman is very good.
If you wanna go there after 7pm, I recommend you to make a reservation. The restaurant will be full quickly.

Great food, friendly staff, friendly chef and cool ambiance. I had the brown stew chicken which was super tender and delicious! My friend ordered the jerk chicken, mac n cheese, rice and peas which she rated as the best meal she'd had up until that point in our trip. I'd recommend arriving before 5:30pm for dinner because they started running out of many menu items around 6pm.

We booked all inclusive at the reef 28 but we heard amazing things about this restaurant so we had to try it. The reviews were right - this place is amazing! All of the food is great - we had the jerk chicken, jerk tacos, and stew chicken. We were a group of 3 from Toronto and we have had jerk chicken everywhere (including Jamaica) and this food really is 10/10. One of the owners Stephanie came over to chat with us during our meal and she made us feel really welcome. Thank you Stephanie! We will be back for this amazing food. Everyone should come here during this trip to playa del Carmen for authentic Jamaican.
