Hotel staff was nice but did only spoke Spanish. Staff does not like to provide very many towels. We stayed for 2 weeks. A week before we left we requested travelocity end our stay one day early so we would have more time in Cozumel. They said the hotel would not answer their calls for a few days then told us they had confirmed with hotel that we would be refunded one night if we left one night early. After our stay we never got the one night refund and travelocity claimed the hotel wouldn't communicate back so they could not get the refund approved. WiFi went out the last 4 days we were there and they did not fix it.

Great value for money. The room is very big and could easily fit 4 people (we were just a couple). Facilities are well maintained. Location is great - close to everything, but still quiet and allows you to rest. Wifi connection was very good and stable.

Playa Encantada is currently facing a cockroach infestation (we saw several of them in our room and in the common areas). When we raised the issue with the staff, they offered to cancel our booking with a refund. It was already late at night and the staff did not care that we would have been left with no place to go. Out of options, it was finally agreed that we spend a night in the hotel (surrounded by crawling roaches) with a refund. This was an unpleasant experience, unfortunately.

NO BUENO...NOISY AND UNCOMFORTABLE
IMPATIENT IMPOLITE RECEPTIONIST UPON CHECK-IN. STAFF DIDNT REPLACE HARD UNCOMFORTABLE PILLOWS WHEN WE ASKED. NOISY FURNITURE ABOVE OUR HEADS MOVING AROUND WAKING US UP. BAD ROOM 201.
YOU CAN FURNITURE MOVING WAY OVER FROM TOP FLOORS AND WAREHOUSE BESIDE BEDROOM, NOISY TRUCKS.
FANS ARE TOO FAST TOO USE.

We have been travelling through Mexico for 3 weeks and Hotel Encantada was the worst experience at all. The room was very noisy, the bus station is just across the street and the whole time we were listening to a machine announcing bus arrivals and departures. There was no balcony.
The reception staff was absolutely useless, they were not able to help us, tourists, to arrange anything. Not even to advise where we can buy a bottle of water in the middle of night when we arrived. And the oxxo shop was just around the corner!
On top of this all, after checking out in a hurry, I realized I forgot a shirt in our room. I immediately asked the receptionist to check and give it back to me. They asked the cleaning lady, she claimed to know nothing and find nothing. I believe I was pretty insistent and still, they did not return it. So the cleaning lady or the reception staff either stole the shirt or threw it away and did not confess to either.
I would NOT recommend to anyone to stay in this useless stealing place.

The room are big and comfortable, they have ac, kitchen with utensils and refrigerator.. the pool is small and outs common. You can't smoke in the room but there is smoking area near the pool. The receptionist are very friendly the help with anything you want.. you can leave your bags with the reception if you come early or checking out late..
The check out and check-in are at 12 noon.

It's next to ado alternative stop and 5 blocks from the beach, 2 blocks from Coco bongo

Location was really good. 5 mins from the Main Street
Pool was fairly clean 8/10 for cleanliness, only 4 sun beds that hit the sun. Lack of atmosphere, needs some background music.

Staff were ok, our cleaners were very good but Oscar the main receptionist was amazing. He recommended so much for us and helped us out in every need. We can’t praise him enough!

Last minute booking for a 7 nights and we booked a large apartment that sleeps 4 and a child.
2 double beds. 1 double each, they were hard.. ( hospital beds basically)
Kitchen was great, with large fridge and stovetop and microwave. Freezer came in handy too. But didn’t have much equipment for 2 people especially not for 5..
Air con only in the bedroom but that was great, smart tv with Netflix was also a nice touch.

Great shower, lots of toiletries.
Within walking distance to 3 supermarkets (5-10 mins)

Would rate 5 stars but beds were hard and not well equipped kitchen.
5 stars for Oscar!
