i booked a shared room to get to know other people but i had a 6 bed room to myself. i booked the room mainly to improve my pool skills but they couldn't find the balls. The first day I asked they couldn't find it. the next day i asked again as i hoped they had arranged balls but they came up with the same excuse that they couldn't find them. I think the hotel is mainly for israelis so if you are not I would recommend another hostel

As the owner said above, this is the best hostel in Playa Del Carmen. The location is awesome, the staff are all nice and very helpful, I was absolutely comfortable. It was clean and diligently cleaned daily by a great maid service. Additionally, they have two pools. The bottom pool is very clean and used daily and the top pool is one of the coolest places ever. Hammock swings and plenty of seating. There is a pool table, ping pong table, an mp4 game unit, drinks and food all day and night! This place is awesome!!

This is my first low review ever. Man, this place is awful. The reviews are good because they offer a discount on good reviews. They gave me the wrong room as per my booking, without any air conditioning, and there's LOUD house music playing at all times that you can hear in your room.... It's a nightmare. There are actual lizards in the room, and the mattress is a gross rubber material.

The bathrooms are absolutely filthy, and the price isn't good...

When I asked for a refund after my arrival, I was told "no," even though they have me the wrong room.

Despite everything wrong with this hostel, the worst part is the fake reviews. Don't believe them!

I’m not someone who typically leaves reviews but this place was something…in not a great way! They charged us more than what we confirmed our booking for via booking.com. We booked a quad private room and they put us in a room with 1 double bed and they said it was the “only” room with broken AC. They suggested we leave the window open which opens to the courtyard. The main issue with this is that there is incredibly loud house music that was blasting all night long. This house music was LOUD, alllllllllll night! We wanted to just cancel our booking and go elsewhere but they refused to give us a refund. The internet didn’t work in the room and barely outside of the room. On our last day, we got a message from the hostel asking us to leave a review and if we leave good comments we’d get a 10% discount.

The wifi is Not good so Don't expect it to be. I use my carrier data services. Music is loud so bring earplugs. The reason it got 4 stars is the wifi. The front desk Camila and others helped me and they were nice I had some issues with the people in my room they came cleaned up the mess and solved it for me. Perfect walking distance from all the activities and 5th ave.

Awful stay. My room was dirty, the door lock was very difficult to open and people would yell in the courtyard all through the night. It's impossible to get decent sleep, even with earplugs.
