The ceviche from here is one of the best in PDC! Considering how fresh all the seafood is, the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend the shrimp pastor tacos, they are a new addition to the menu since our last visit and tasted amazing!

friend from Sinoloa recommended it and it was great. It makes me want to change my itinerary and come back to Playa Del Carmen just to eat here. the best octopus and fish tacos. Highly recommened the Receta 94

This is a place visited by locals and little away from the tourist location. We tried their shrimp taco and fish taco. Both tasted good. Only downside was both shrimp and fish were fried. I was expecting grilled fish and shrimp. The margarita tasted very good. Definitely recommend this place for a local experience and prices were reasonable. If you want to skip tourist trap, stop by for an authentic Mexican eat out place. The salesperson at Pandora suggested this joint. Glad we tried it out. 4 star is because of fried item. The menu wasn’t clear on that.

Best ceviche I had in playa del Carmen. The tacos are delicious too. A bit pricey. The hostess had quite a bit of attitude and made us wait for 30 min although they had tables available.

We ordered fish that was enough for two people, as the server recommended. He assured us that the fish will come with chips and the salad. What was delivered: sack of bones with LITERALLY 5 chips (for two people) and a salad that had frozen, amoniac taste. When we asked for some extra chips, they gave us around 5 more (attached picture). The fish has decent taste, but it wasn’t enough for a half of person, not to say 2. This pile of bones cost us 25EUR. Mexicans, get your sense for money back.

After a month of trying ceviche and fish tacos at other restaurants, this place has the best everything. Amazing refreshing atmosphere, delicious shrimp tacos (not deep fried) and fresh ceviche! They even have a high chair if you’re traveling with a baby. Best fish restaurant in Playa!

The food was excellent. The service was as laid back and inattentive as they come, which set the tone for the experience. If I go back, I'd grab food to go and avoid the relaxed service and inattentive service. I'd imagine it could be a fun place for late night drinks.
