An excellent hotel in a great location for 5th AVE. And the ferries. ADO is also next door. The staff are super friendly and funny. The breakfast is next door and is nice. It has 3 pools and 3 jacuzzi's. The bed in the king room is massive.

My Husband and I were there last week we stayed 7 nights , the Hotel was really nice , people were so lovely and helpful , clean rooms , breakfast was very delicious , I highly recommended and I will definitely stay there again

Too bad the breakfast was so dull and tasteless, otherwise I would have given 5 stars. Perfect location. Walking distance to everything you could need, staff was helpful and nice and the room was clean. We only tried the rooftop pool (not the pool in the garden), but it was great. On the sign it said the pool was open untill 11pm, but when we went up there at 10pm, a guy from the hotel told us it closes at 10. So a correction of the sign would be good.

We stayed at La Leyenda for 2 nights before heading back home. The hotel is part of La Passion hotel; the 2 hotels were joint by a common courtyard. We booked La Leyenda since it was slight cheaper. This is an older Hacienda Ranch style hotel, so it was furnished with wooden furniture (including the trash cans). I can appreicte the decorations and furniture, but some areas of the hotel does show wear. The elevators were removed, so be ready to carry your luggage upstairs. Best features of the hotel are the pools: 1 on the roof top and 2 in the courtyard ground level.
We got a King room w/ city view looking directly over the square. The room is very small, only space for the King size bed with barely walking room. However, it was very clean. There are some street noise, but not bad. If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend booking La Passion side since these rooms have balcony facing the court yad.
Overall it was a great value. We paid $47/ night which includes breakfast. The staffs were very friendly, the room was clean, we would return but will book the La Passion rooms.

We satay day La Leyenda in January 2019 and loved the place. Rooms are comfortable, quite new, quiet air conditioning units and all the necessities you need in nice decor.
The staff was super nice and helpful. Rooftop pools and bar are a treat, great relax overlooking main Square.
Close to the beach 2 minutes walk.
Spanish restaurant downstairs associated with the hotel where you eat breakfast is excellent. They have great, tasty dinner menu too (I recommend vegetarian paella:)).

One annoying thing was that this same WiFi network name needs to be used in your room and outside but different passwords, so you need do retype the password several times a day. I think this can be easily fixed by the hotel.

Overall great job La Leyenda!

Stolen safe. I highly warn against this hotel !! € 600 has disappeared from our cash in the safe. Nobody solves anything. They say it's not possible.

Friendly staff. No clear curtains on window...so only dark or window where can see you inside the room. Position is good. Breakfast is fairly bad quality, I suggest you eat elsewhere as many great little restaurants offer very good breakfast.
