I've had plenty of Venezuelan food over the years and this place is right there with the best of them. Every item is made fresh to order and tastes wonderful. We were only in Playa for a week but I just had to stop by this restaurant a second time before we left. I don't think you can go wrong with anything on the menu but the pabellón was my favorite. The owner was really nice too and offered us a dessert on the house on our way out. Will definitely be back next time I am here.

Such an unique experience! I have to be honest though that I am not the best critique as it is my first time trying dishes from Venezuela. However if you enjoy Mexican food, you will appreciate it definitely. The prices are reasonable considering the area and although it is close to the centre, you feel like you are away from the touristic district!

Amazing food !! Possibly the best I have eaten in Playa del Carmen (and not Mexican I know...). 100 times kinder service and taste than in the touristy areas on 5 ave... we tried the Empanada and Patacon with shredded chicken, super delicious. Also try their rice drink, it's like rice pudding but liquid, what else!

Wow! Just wow!!! The best food in all of Mexico, we had at this amazing restaurant. The host and staff are super friendly and it feels like you’re in their living room. They have amazing juices and also al lot of vegan and vegetarian options. Don’t hesitate but go and visit. You will not be disappointed. Oh and by the way, their homemade flan is to die for!!

Delicious! First time trying Venezuelan food, and it did not disappoint! Started with a sample of their fresh juices. The Arepas are incredible, the pabellon is homey and filling. Super friendly staff. Cannot recommend enough!

Being Venezuelan myself, I can tell you that finding good quality venezuelan cuisine in the Mayan Riviera is daunting. I've found myself often disappointed with the options available in Cancun, Tulum and Playa. Kaxapa Factory has not only revived my desire for the food of my homeland, it has absolutely satisfied every bit of my South American palate.

The service: amazing friendly considering the restaurant was packed. The food: incredible. The price: Good, considering it's right in the middle of downtown Playa del Carmen.

Would I come back? Yes. Will I come back? Oh yeah! Should you try venezuelan food in Mexico? Heck yeah! And this is a great place to do so.

Must try entree: Tequeños.
Must try main dish: Pabellón Criollo.
Must try drink: Jugo de Parchita.

Flavorful food! The bananas were *muah* *cheffs kiss*. Don’t miss this restaurant during your visit! The staff was so friendly and had suggestions for things to do around town!
