I will preface my review by stating this is for the SPA not the Hotel. We got several massages from multiple different spas in Playa del Carmen, and this massage was BY FAR the best.

We got a 90-minute, deep tissue massage. The experience was wonderful from start to finish, beginning with a foot bath, and ending with a vegan truffle. The pressure level was excellent and consistent throughout the 90 minutes (we did not receive this level of pressure at any other spa). I would recommend Bric Spa to anyone seeking a high-quality, deep tissue massage.

Apprehensive at first going to a new spa but was very pleasently surprised. Despite the fact that the spa is on the 3rd floor, I'm 74 years old, I had no issues going up the stairs.

It was one of the best experiences that I have ever had. The staff was very attentive to my needs. It was a very calming and relaxing atmosphere. I have already scheduled another appointment prior to our long flight home.

This review is for the SPA only, I do not stay here but i do visit the Bric Spa every time i come to Playa.

I am a massage therapist in Hawaii and a good quality spa is important to me. Jacqui and Bric Spa deliver good quality massage treatments at a great price.

I highly recommend the warm poultice treatment with Swedish massage. Jacqui, the manager, will always pair you with the right therapist if you clearly define your needs.

Stayed here for over a week with my daughter, we had a wonderful experience. Clean, comfortable rooms and the grounds are beautiful. Emma is great, always attentive and very sweet. Close to everything but not noisy. We’ll be back!

Stay away!!!

Pros: Very Close to eveything, safe, has a pool, room looked good.
Cons: Noisy outside (forget sleeping), sandpaper blankets, Wi-Fi slow and doesn't work, 5-10 min for hot water, No services, empty fridge, no cleanup in our 3 days there (Even the insane policy of cleaning every 2 days was broken), manager refused to keep our suitcases after checkout, for more than 3 hours, had to yell and find the doorwoman to go out in the morning.
Just an awful experience.

The only hotel in my vacation that got me angry and disappointed!

This is for the Spa: with all the silliness going on in Playa del Carmen I was a bit apprehensive about finding a proper Spa. But I managed to! I received professional service from a massage therapist in a clean, comfortable environment. I received a deep tissue massage that was at least as good as I have received in cities like LA, San Francisco, Geneva, Tel Aviv, etc., for roughly one half, to one third the price. My therapist was named Mirna and I would ask for her if I were you!

This place was Terrible . i dont know who wrote the previous reviews for this place but everything that was advertised on their website was FALSE . There was no breakfast, our refrigerator was NOT stocked with anything . not even waters . The mirror in the bathroom was small like a kid mirror in a playhouse . And one small walmart bought mirror in the bedroom . The sheets and blankets Felt like sleeping on PAPER ! The key that was given to us to lock our door wasn’t working and we were locked inside the hotel for about 20 minutes trying to get out and had to call the front desk to come help . there is no good lighting in this hotel so dont even think about taking pictures. there was no microwave. but i can say the pool outside was nice . but do NOT spend your money here . it’s POINTLESS.
