This is a total rip off - don't believe comments about friendly service - they will try to add a 10 percent surcharge to your bill if paying by credit card. And that's before the poorly maintained rooms and non existent WiFi signal.

Memo is the friendliest host I've ever had. He and his wife Vero live at the hotel and are proud to help you with anything they can. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it's clean and well priced and the air conditioner works well. Only complaint is the plumbing; the toilet seemed as sleepy as Joe Biden, so try to avoid using it after eating a big bean burrito, if you know what I mean.

The staff is super, super friendly. They make you feel so welcome. Be aware that the rooms have bathrooms with no roof - so you have to know each other very well to stay here as friends or couple. :)

quaint little hotel one block from historic Zocalo Center. Clean rooms and Facilities, nice pool to cool off in. Coffee and tea service available and morning, breakfast at good price and delicious. The staff is like a family and very helpful in directing us to activities if I'm up. Thank you to all for a memorable experience

We have originally booked for one day. We enjoyed it so much that we didn't want to leave. We felt like home. The host are awesome. His wife and him cooked us amazing meal. Felt like home. Loved it! The rooms had natural breeze and fresh scent. The water system is mayans well so sweet water. You need to try this place! Possibility for parking.

Ideal hostel, clean and affordable. Staff is very friendly, hot water for shower and they are almost finished renovating their pool. Comfy beds and air conditioning. Would recommend.

Not luxurious but very clean, safe and extremely friendly. You're immediately greeted by happy employees or the owners themselves who offer a beverage of your choice. Before you leave, you're asked if you'd like to write a message on the wall by the pool and judging by the many messages the feeling is of "being home". 2 streets away from "El Centro " (downtown) and very affordable. I absolutely recommend this place. By the way, wifi is iffy everywhere in these parts but the many parks offer free wifi so enjoy your vacation and the wonderful people of Merida Mexico and put your technology away.
