3min walk from town square and majority of the good bars/restaurants.

Staff is welcoming and takes a good care (distant parking) of your car.

Distinctive design of the hotel itself and the rooms. Swimming pool and hammocks are good addition, too.

On the bad side, internet is quite poor.

Remarkable hotel. A peaceful place packed with history. We stayed in the king suite and it was really special. The pool was super cold and delicious and surrounded by climbers. The food was great and the desk/concierge staff couldn't do enough for us. Absolutely recommend. Just internet was patchy and the bar and restaurant closed at 9pm (maybe due to Covid times).

My family and I arrived to the hotel at night, very tired after a flight and four hours drive. The room smell like a old clothes. We couldn't sleep due to the huge noise that was making the air condition.
At 5am I went to the front desk to see if they could change our room and I found an employee sleeping wrapped in a blanket that couldn't help me. The front desk clerk was very rude and told me that they have rooms available but i would have to pay much more for them to change our room. I would understand if the hotel was full but we were the only guess in the entire hotel.
We couldn't charge our phones and my work computer because was not enough outlets. Room doesn't have minibar.
After all we went through they never apologized.
We decided to change the hotel and after check out no one help us to bring the luggage to the front of the hotel.
I would not recommend this to anyone. Think before you book with them, they will ruin your vacation.

This is a great place to stay in Mérida. The interior decoration is awesome. The hotel is an old convent, and they've decorated with that in mind, it seems. Crosses everywhere and just magical atmosphere. The restaurant serves great food. The staff is really friendly. The wi-fi was lousy, though.

Very friendly and courteous staff, very good and quiet location, neat and clean and a cozy restaurant.

Few sun beds and umbrellas (only one for a small table) at the pool. The bed was very hard.

Very nice service, wifi somewhat enough for remote working, though we had to move room desk near window. Cold pool, not sun exposed.

Quiet and central. Our room was known by name not number and reception staff always knew us .. no need for room naming when picking up our key. Friendly and very personable.
