This is a small hostel which is located just above their „tourist office“ only 3 minutes from the Central Square (in case you‘re a light sleeper, it‘s pretty noisy). The small men‘s dorm consists of four single beds, they are comfortable and sheets are clean. The space is being cleaned every day. The lighting in the dorm could be better, it‘s not possible to read whilst lying in bed. There is one public toilet and one shower which- since there are never many guests- has never been a problem. Towels are not provided. Breakfast was fruit (throughout the day!), toast and a couple of toppings to choose from.

There is a beautiful hang-out zone where one can eat food, work or just relax.

Considering the low price, this is good value indeed!

The guesthouse is central and perfect for sightseeing in the city. The owners are very friendly and put a lot of love into it, beautiful decor, lots of plants and our private AC room was surprisingly big and spacious. Nice kitchen and always clean. (Only bummer was that the fridge was always full, and we needed to squeeze stuff around)
Fully recommend it, great value for money :)

Beautiful, comfortable, very close to the center. The owner and his wife are the sweetest. Very helpful people, full of advices concerning what to do in Merida and around it. The bathroom problem in the dorm has been fixed so one should not fear smell or noise :) I totally recommend it!

I wouldn't recommend that hostel. The pictures look way better than it actually is. We stayed in the Dorm room and the beds are super basic not enough storage room, no lockers in the room. I know it's cheap but you could easily improve the rooms without big costs. Bathroom was dirty and wasn't cleaned everyday. Toiletpaper was missing all the time. The stuff is friendly but you never know when they are in the hostel.

Nice accommodation when staying in Merida. Owners are friendly. Rooms are clean and quite comfortable. There is a nice terrace for hanging out. The house is quite central und parking lots are close by. The prices are fair, too.

The Owner is racist and treated me like a dog. I went there last night right after they had a presentation. I found it odd that there were no forign people there so I asked as a joke, where are all of the gueros, ( a term in mexico for someone with lighter skin) I then clarifed and said I mean I thought a hostel would have more forign people. A little bit later I asked the owner if there was wifi. He ignored me. I asked again, Excuse me is there wifi. He said calm down. I am not a dog, when I ask a question you do not tell me to calm down. Shortly after the owner asked me to leave. He said that I was judgeing people and that he was offended. He said mexico does not have that many ' gueros' and America is not the head of the world . He then said severaly bad things about Americans. He also said you need to respect us I do not go to your country and disrespect your country. I replied and told him that it was a misunderstanding I just made an observation about how there were no forign people at this hostel and I was not looking for ' gueros' I came to mexico to meet mexican people. I also explained that my half brother is mexican and has brown skin, and that I like to date mexican women, who as he correctly pointed out usually have darker skin. The owner and his coworker told me that since I did not know them I had no right to make observations or jokes. He judged me as an American who thinks he is better than everyone else and that does not like brown people when he reality is that I prefer latin american culture becasue people are usually nicer than European culture.
