A good kid friendly all inclusive resort. Overall the rooms are very nice and room cleaning is prompt and through. Food at all the restaurants was pretty decent. Some are better than others of course. The pool area is ample with lots of room and chairs for everyone. Riding the golf carts around is fun but waiting for them is annoying when a lot of people wait for them. Overall I'd say 6/10 stars.

We loved our stay. The room was beautiful, the food amazing and the service was stellar. The shows were top notch. Really some of the best acrobats we've ever seen.
I was recovering from a surgery and I had a complication. The hotel sent a Dr and a hotel rep. They were so good to me. Really took great care of me in a scary moment.
The only draw back from the resort is the beach. You can't snorkel or swim really because of seaweed. Thankfully they have stunning pools and lots of them. They had pool games that were so much fun. We easily got chairs to relax on and servers regularly came by for drinks.
I highly recommend going to this beautiful resort.

Great value for a vacation. Food and beverage choices are plentiful. Staying at any of the resorts gives you access to the others. Golf carts are easy way to get to where you want to be on the expansive resort grounds. Staff are courteous and helpful. The Maintenance Staff was responsive for the few problems we had with the air conditioner and sink draining. The grounds are kept meticulously.

This is a really great resort with excellent staff. The rooms are fabulous (at least our swim out room was amazing). The only reason for 4 stars is because lines to get into the table service restaurants start about 30 minutes before opening, which isn't exactly what you'd expect from an all inclusive resort. Other than that, food was filling, dessert was sweet, and service was amazing! The Awe Spa at the sunrise golf club is way over the top. If you want to be pampered, the spa is a must do activity.

For starters, we reserved our transportation ahead of our trip and when we got there, our transportation didn’t have our names on the paper because the hotel forgot to add it. Then, checking in was very complicated and unorganized. Some of the staff was kind but others were very rude and unhelpful. The app for the hotel was not working so it was very difficult to use it and reserve for restaurants since there was no walk ins. We requested transportation for the way home to the airport and made sure it was all done. The morning of we waited and waited but it never showed up. The manager told us we had to call a taxi even though we were waiting for so long and we had s flight to catch. We had to pay for a taxi when we already paid for transportation and they wouldn’t give up our money back. The manager was so rude and disrespectful, he didn’t care to help even though it wasn’t our fault. I asked to speak with a different manager and he didn’t allow it. He told us to leave. This was suppose to be a relaxing family vacation but they made it horrible. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this resort at all. I have been to Mexico before and the experience was completely different and better. However this experience was horrible and I would never go there again. They ruined our trip completely.

Hi I’m 17 and Chose this Hotel for my Graduation trip.. and I did not regret the decision at all!!!! This Hotel has a Amazing staff and great Entertainment at night! The Pool and Drinks and food were also good. They were short staffed and we had to be patient but besides that I have absolutely no complaints!! I also recommend getting a day pass to the Grand and enjoy that resort as well! The Beach isn’t the best but if you aren’t a beach person I believe you were surely enjoy this resort with your family and friends!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A LUXURY EXPERIENCE DO NOT COME HERE AND PLEASE READ! This was my families third time coming back to Moon Palace. We purchased a vacation membership while there with the promise of "let us show you how great our service and experience will be". This could not be further from our actual experience. I brought my 8 year old son to play his first round of golf. Upon returning the gentleman working at the golf course he shared with us our cart was damaged which we were aware of we would have to pay for the damages which we agreed. He asked if he could call the mechanic to give us a price, and I politely let him know we were not going to wait and he could take down my bracelet ID and provided my room number and we would cover the cost. His response was that we were not allowed to leave and we had to wait. I told him we would not be waiting and he said we had no choice. At this point the conversation escalated and demanded to leave and asked where the carts back to the resorts were. I found a cart got in my son and he instructed the driver in Spanish which I understood not to let us leave. The driver then lied to us and said he could not leave without more people which is not the case, and proceeded to reverse the car back to the gentleman men from the golf course. He was standing next to security guard telling us we could not leave. At this point my son is completely freaked out and asking why there are keeping us there and we did nothing wrong. There was the driver there who lied to us, a security guard just standing there, and the golf course employee making calls while we just sat there. I had to raise my voice over and over again telling them they could not keep us there without our consent and it was our last day and the rest of our family was waiting for us. His response is this is exactly why you can't leave since it is your last day. After telling them I would file a complaint with the owner of the resort the driver left on his own merit as he did not want a complaint filed about him. At this point my son did not want to go anywhere and was afraid if we did go somewhere they would keep us there and we could not go home. I went to Public Relations and created a formal complaint, and they told us this should of never happened and they would follow up with us. Their follow up was a call asking for money for the cart, and they would be in touch about what happened. They clearly did not care nor offer much of an apology. This is the opposite of any luxury experience and they could of at least tried to make this right. We spend our last day like this on a family vacation and now my son never wants to go back there and had to have his first golf experience ruined.
