I just stayed here for almost a week and I had a great time! The hotel is clean and the housekeeping keeps the rooms immaculate during the day. Overall, customer service is fantastic.

The only thing that I am extremely disappointed with, was the food. I tried all the restaurants available and was not impressed with any of them. The only food that was good was the Mexican portion of the buffet, and even then… I’ve had better in the US. The rest of the food in the buffet were very poorly done versions of international dishes. The quality of the food was just not up to par with what I expected.

Beyond that, I was served a cold, over cooked steak at the steak house, and the burgers at the restaurant near the pool didn’t even look familiar. They were rubbery and just gross.

Unfortunately, despite my raving review about the rest of the resort the food itself will prevent me from coming back. I spent the majority of my stay hungry and uncomfortable, other than the day I ate off the resort for an excursion.

I couldn’t bring myself to rate this resort lower than a 4 because I really was impressed with most of it.

Let me start off by saying this resort is gorgeous. Both the interior and outside areas of the resort are well kept. I would often wake up super early to catch the sunrise at the beach and the would see the staff hard at work to keep the resort looking clean.

Another positive: the service at this resort goes above and beyond. I encourage that you tip the staff here because not only will they appreciate it, they deserve it. The front desk was very helpful with my inquiries throughout my stay here and the maid always did a phenomenal job with making my hotel room clean and organized.

Now to the one thing that I would say didn’t satisfy me: the food. The food here is mediocre, at best. It’s edible but that’s about it. I disliked how the restaurants here didn’t take reservations. I would often be turned down because they fill up and the only choice I would be left with is the buffet. The foods looks presentable but I personally wasn’t a big fan with the overall taste of the food options.

This may not be a disadvantage for everyone but another thing I didn’t like was the lack of privacy for the bath and shower. The bath is exposed in the middle of the room and the shower screen is pretty much see through. If you’re going here as a couple it’s not a problem but if you’re with other people, there’s a lack of privacy in the showers.

Overall, I would say I had a pretty decent stay at the resort, it was a fun week. Thank you to the staff here, your service was appreciated!

We went here for our 5 year anniversary and it was an absolute delight. The room we stayed in was very clean and kept that way by their great maid staff. Our fridge was always stocked with beverages. We never ran out of anything. They provided us with a crib for our child and it came with its own mattress rather than a pad. They have restaurants for all tastes. If you couldn't find something at one of their restaurants there was a good chance it was at their buffet. The entertainment throughout the day and night was excellent. They always had something new to watch at night. The pools and beaches were very well kept. We did go when the seaweed was blooming so there was some in the water and some washed up on the shore but it would clear out as the day went on. All and all a great experience.

Hotel is over an hour from airport down very awful road.

Rooms are very nice for a couple... But bathtub and shower both visible to the rest of the room... So, if you have kids, they will be watching you shower.

Restaurants don't take reservations. Often Lineups. If you have a group, they'll usually tell you to come back at 8:00.

Food, overall, is decent. Many locations. Can get food anytime.

All the staff were very nice and helpful. The place is clean.

Plenty of chairs at the beach. Lots of seaweed though. Beach is overall nice.

Place falls well short on entertainment. The resort basically shuts down at 10:30pm.

Lots of very nice pools... But no access after like 7pm. Would be nice if there was a pool open late, or even all night.

If you can't do stairs and need elevator... They are VERY far from basically everything.

The whole place and the hotel are wonderful. Had the best time here. Everything is so well maintained, and super clean. The staff is beyond helpful. Best service ever, they just wait to serve you and make you feel like royalty. Great food, lots of choices. The entertainment and shows were great. There were also separate pools for kids and for adults only. Highly recommend! ????????

This was my first time in Mexico and I absolutely loved this hotel. The food was great, the staff were wonderful and the rooms were clean.

The resort itself is large with multiple pools, amenities and the grounds are immaculate. I enjoyed basking in the sun with a drink as well as long walks on the beach.

The weather was amazing and made for a great trip. It is about 45 minutes from the airport. There is also a gift shop with plenty of items such as souvenirs.

I recommend this resort and thank the staff for an amazing experience and vacation!

This is truly a beautiful hotel and my husband and I had a wonderful time. I was somewhat concerned about it being further out of the hotel zone, but many activities we booked had transportation included so it was not an issue. Very clean and well laid out areas that make it easy to get around. There is plenty of places to eat with multiple themed restaurants and multiple bars to get drinks. The staff are professional and provide wonderful service. Honestly, the staff is one of the best parts of this place because of our how high quality the service is!! We stayed in a unit that had the swim out pool, which I highly recommend!! There are many activities to do at this hotel and even after four days we were not able to take part in everything this hotel had to offer. We will be back!!! Special thanks specifically to J.Lo (breakfast buffet hostess) and Enrique (RIU Art director) along with many other staff members who made our stay one to never forget. I highly recommend!!
