I took a fishing trip on Golu Fishing Charters at Cancun. Enjoyed slow jigging. Landed 7 amberjacks, 4 fish were over 30 lb. Lost huge groupers. The Captain and his crew were more than awesome!! Their navigation and kind support were percent. They are professional guides. If you have a time to go fishing at Cancun, I really recommend Golu Fishing Charters. Promise they will provide unforgettable memory to all anglers.

My family and I went on two Inshore charters, as a birthday gift for my 10 year old son with Captain Mario Gomez and his first mate Sammy. Both trips were OUTSTANDING!
The boat was super clean and the gear was top notch.
Add to that the Captain and mate worked hard to get us on and keep us fish. We caught Barracuda, Bonita, Bar Jack, Amber Jack, Almaco Jack, Spanish Mackerel and more. This was the fifth charter service we have tried in Cancun. We will never go with anyone else. I highly recommend Golu Charters.

This was my second year fishing with Mario, and I will be booking him for a third time the next time I come back to Cancun.

Depending on what is in season and you’re own taste, Mario will give you his best and honest recommendations on where, what, and how to fish it. No need to bring your own bait, rods or anything else, Mario provides it all….including some snacks, sodas, and a few beers.

Our resort was only a few minutes from Marina, so Mario was nice enough to pick us up and drop us back off when we were done. We caught a bunch of Dorado (Mahi Mahi), Blackfin Tuna, and a nice Kingfish. Mario bagged up some of the fish we decided to keep, took it to one of the restaurants in our resort, and the Chef prepped dinner for us that night!

Overall, this definitely something I would keep doing every time I go back to Cancun from now on. Avoid the overpriced fishing tours with the resort, and reserve with GOLU Fishing Charters!!

A great experience! Capt. Mario is an expert at his craft and is incredibly patient with fishers. We caught several different kinds of fish and can’t wait to catch more with him next time!

I wish I could leave 0 stars. We were booked with another company which was TERRIBLE. No safety discussion. The clearly have no idea what they were doing. Didn’t put the lines in right. Used 3 poles. Required payment and tip before hand and wouldn’t refund when our trip was only 3 hours vs the 6 we paid for. NO fish caught. Do not recommend. Terrible customer service. The captain spoke no English. We’ve been on a ton of charters and this is by far the worst experience We’ve ever had. When I took my concerns to the captain he said the owner said we were all drunk. I literally did not drink a thing. Super dissatisfied and disappointing

Holà, we had an awesome experience with Mario and Sam!!! Great guys!!!
Fishing conditions were not the best but Mario put us onto the fish!!!!
Would recommend these guys in a heartbeat!!! He went above and beyond looking after us all the way!!!

What a day with Captain Mario and Jorge. First of all they made me feel very welcome and are top guys. Secondly, the fishing was out of this world. Mario worked so hard to make sure he found me the fish. When the trawling was quiet we switched it up to jigging and the results were fantastic. If you’re coming to Cancun and are not sure which charter to go with, do not hesitate to choose Golu Fishing Charters ???? ???? ????
