Rivera del Rio Boutique Hotel

I’ve stayed at Rivera Del Rio back in April and it was amazing. The boutique hotel just had a renovation and added some great new features. On the top of the hotel there is now a roof top infinity pool and bar with friendly staff. There’s food options, cold beer and fresh margaritas ????
The room I had was the Josephine and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud with black out curtains for late sleep ins. The room had a balcony with a view of the river with no other building close by looking in. In the morning they have a full kitchen where they can cook you breakfast and serve you coffee and fresh juice.
I’ve recommended this hotel to my friends and whoever wants a special vacation.

Staff was very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Price is very reasonable. Location is a 10/10 very close walk to everything. Beach seems far but it is realistically only a 10-15 min walk. Rooftop infinity pool is beautiful and hotel itself is very unique. Only complaint is that you can hear everything throughout the hotel. The stay was amazing and despite the thin walls, I would still go back and stay as well as recommend to everyone!

Wonderful hotel and amazing value for the price! The room (and building) was very lovely down to the elegant decor, comfortable bed and convenient TV. Great view from the top floor, where you can lounge, tan and enjoy the infinity pool.

Not too far away from the beach. Far enough away from loud clubs. Very comfortable part of the neighborhood.

Was an excellent place to call home during my stay in PV. Highly recommended!

El Escándalo! - We were genuinely shocked that a hotel which was booked only a few days before we travelled could be so fantastic!

The location was perfect - being only a short walk from the beach and wonderful restaurants - whilst the staff could not have been more helpful. Their level of customer service was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble, meaning we had a wonderful relaxing stay. We loved the unusual and eclectic decor and the fact we were located in a quieter area of the city.

We can not thank Grant, Carolina or Angel enough for making this the best holiday we have had in a very very long time and we will see you again later this year! Something we have never done, but we feel at the Rivera Del Rio we have found a home from home!

We can not recommend this hotel enough! 5 star from start to finish.

AVOID booking at this place as the rooms are old (especially the Old building). We booked Alejandro room at around$180 per night for two nights. We had AC dripping water on our face the first night and the second night we struggled with toilet not functioning.
The cleaning could have been much better and the sheets smelled weird and were stained. I booked this hotel because I normally have outstanding services and cleanliness in Boutique hotels, but this was not the case here.

Nice location close to many restaurants tho.

Had a great time here booked for 3 nights originally and extended our stay for 12 more nights with our two dogs. The staff was excellent and very friendly. The view from the pool is amazing and Ulesis is the best bartender I've met and has all the best recommendations for anything you need! Can't wait to come back and stay here again!

From the second my wife and I arrived at the hotel we felt welcome and at home. The pools were all well maintained, room quality was excellent, and the staff was professional. The location of the hotel allows guests to be a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Vallarta's main streets, while enjoying a calm and pleasant setting. If you're looking for a great value, look no further than this hotel.
