This is a well kept older property with good location not that far from the beach, but where you will probably get the best room rates in the area because of the location and age of the hotel. Very friendly staff as well. No parking, but public transportation is excellent and it is within walking distance to everything that you will need, except for the airport.

The room you get is nothing like the room pictured on Expedia or hotels.com. The room was terrible. Rundown, hot and uncomfortable. As soon as we saw the room was not the room we booked online we requested a refund and left. The hotel refused to refund us for that night. This place is a scam.

It was a moderate hotel but the price was moderate as well. It was in a great location in romantic zone, nice balcony for me to sit at night.

No frills hotel. Good place to sleep. $35-40 (includes taxes)
Standard room is tiny. Very old and needs updating. 1990’s box tv in some rooms
A few rooms have been updated. You can upgrade for a small fee.
Clientele: locals and long staying expats.

Room comes with:
1x free Bottle water everyday
1 x towel
Soap
2x rolls of Toilet tissue
Several hangers
2 x pillows and bedding
Hot water
Strong Ceiling fan

Pro’s:
Strong WiFi
COVID cleaning everyday ????????????????????????

The Cons:
Hard bed

AirCon pre set at 23 degrees. No remote.

No Aircon in 80% of the rooms. Will cost extra to upgrade.
No blackout curtains
No refrigerator
No safety box(can leave valuables at the front desk safe deposit box).
TV remote will require a 100 peso deposit.
No beach towel
Very very Thin walls.
9-7pm: construction noise throughout the hotel.

Location
Safe(Never had an issue in Zona Romantica)
5 min walk to SeTac Wellness COVID testing clinic
600 peso antigen(30-60 min results).
2100 peso PCR (24 hours )
Plenty of taco stands , 0X0X (7/11), amazing affordable local restaurants and bars. All within 3-5 min walk.
10 min walk to beach and Beach walk(Malecon).

Airport transport:
Taxi 200 peso(ask front desk)
Uber 150-350 peso

Yes, I would stay again.
Why? Friendly staff, excellent location and good price point.

Knowing what I know from the first stay , I’m liking this hotel more and more .
The staff are truly responsive and kind.
If you know how to deal with the thin walls, everything else will come together in a positive way.

My friend stays here and constantly raves about it.
The staff super friendly, convenient location and quiet. She always gets a room with a balcony and I love it most because you feel like you are in Mexico!

I absolutely enjoyed my stay here while visiting and experiening Puerto Vallarta. Everything was very clean and the staff was always nice. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Very spacious room. Top floor. Corner room. ???? kitchen with all the pots, pans,plates, silverware you need, if you want to cook. Bathroom is a good size. Hot and cold water. Closet space for 2. A sleep sofa and chairs. Even a table with 4 chairs to eat on. Or the eat on the kitchen bar. But for 2 adult that are 5 foot 10, and 5 foot 11. The Full size bed is not working. They need to put a King size bed in this room. And the staff are friendly and very helpful.
