Its an ok place to sit and watch them clean the seaweed from the beach. The beach is also really narrow there so it can be crowded. Drinks are 2 for 1 but that is price related as well, meaning that they have figured that i to the price. Some of the dive boats unload in front and the divers wade ashore through the weeds dragging their tanks with them. Vendors mingle with the crowds selling overpriced goods to unsuspecting tourists. All in all a pretty standard beach scene.

Wonderful restaurant. The seafood was to die for. Best grilled octopus I have ever had and the calamari was Devine. With the beach view to top it off. 5 stars!

The location is great. The price is ok.
I ordered two Cuba libre for 300. they told me I HAVE TO pay 360. I was confused and made a quick picture. Now I have seen it was only a suggestion.
I am fine with tipping but I want to decide by myself what amount. It feels like a rip-off.

For Venezuelans seeing latino america again after 3 years in Europe when arriving to Playa del Carmen and to this amazing spot specifically, I can tell you it was only magic. This is your not-glam beach place where you get great food and a pretty corner of the beach at reasonable price only paying with cash. It is always crowded in Playa del Carmen beach as it is very narrow across (at least from the most northen part of the coast), but this is the best place to get a shade, some ceviche and a XX. Relax and enjoy!

Coming from Texas, I'm usually not acustom to food in Mexico. Its always just different. Here, it was good! The atmosphere and music is great! The table are right on the beach sand. Service was great, prices fair for right on beach. Loved it!!

This is a low key smallish bar that we really liked. They hooked us up with free seats and shade. Also, reasonably priced drinks and free beach access. Friendly staff. They also helped us locate the best ever cenote/atv activity after we asked for a recommendation. I will definitely visit this place again, on a future trip to Playa del Carmen.

Right on the beach, lovely views. Lousy food, slow service. Ceviche was poor, not marinated enough. Calamari was tough and cold by the time it got to the table. Tuna sandwich also was cold.
