Beautiful Italian restaurant. The service is lovely- we ordered the Octopus starter and we didn't realise it was served cold and couldn't eat it (personal preference)... the waiter kindly arranged for this to be taken off our bill. The main meal was very good... well presented... the steak was done perfectly, med-rare as requested. The restaurant has a lovely ambience... great place for date night and there was also a singer which was a nice touch!

This was the perfect restaurant at Playa del Carmen. I could highlight several things in the experience I had during our dinner, but the food quality and the personal friendliness was beyond great. We had mussels (perfectly cooked) and the sea food risotto was full of flavor. We loved it.

Without a doubt one of the best hidden gems of Playa del Carmen. The fresh pasta was amazing, it reminded me of my own that I make. Service was outstanding. The beef carpaccio was to die for.

So... if you are looking for an amazing ambiance, great food, good music, fantastic service... look no further. Trattoria del Centro is where it's at! My husband and I were looking for a bit of a change from all the street food we had been eating over the last few weeks and decided on Italian.

Everything was amazing!

We shared a Margherita Pizza... delicious. We each had our own meals (traditional spaghetti carbonara for myself and seafood pasta for him). Delicious!!!

Of course dinner in never complete without dessert so... I had an off the menu specialty... and he had the cheesecake mousse...

Nothing but amazing... please do yourself a favour and try them out.

(We tried going again but they well all-booked up for the evening... make a reservation!)

Had another wonderful meal at Trattoria del Centro. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Daniel was very quick to offer us a drink while we waited for our table. And the host was very accommodating even though we didn't have a reservation.

The beef carpaccio topped with arugula and Grana Padano is the best I have ever had. Literally melts in your mouth, and is a good size portion.

I ordered the seafood risotto, with shrimp, octopus clams and mussels. Flavors were fantastic and the risotto was cooked perfectly.

My brother ordered the fettuccini fruta del mare. It was filled with seafood and had a wonderful light sauce to it.

My friend ordered the strozzapreti pasta with the lamb ragu sauce. What an amazingly prepared sauce, full of flavor. Could have used a little more meat, but was still wonderful.

This is my 5th visit to Trattoria and I have never had a bad experience yet. Highly recommended.

The food was good . The service was awful, with the exception of the hostess. We were never check up on. Our drinks sat at the bar for many minutes before I took it upon myself to grab them . It was my fiancees birthday. We expected more from such a highly rated business . Willing to give it another shot. The entertainment was good. I wanted to use the bathroom but the entire facility was covered in urine .

It seems we were rushed to order but getting our bill took over 20 minutes from the time they took everything . It was a little obscure . The staff seemed to have had enough for the day. Lots of standing around and talking .

One of the best Italian restaurants out there. Amazing food and great service, the stuff was quick, extremely nice and professional. The pizza was by far the best I've had in Mexico.
