The food was delicious - I had the teriyaki salmon which was cooked perfectly, however the service was terrible.
It took almost 20 minutes for us to be acknowledged after we sat down, even though other diners who arrived after us were being served.
The waiter did not smile at us once and was not friendly at all.

I was asked if I had finished my drink to which I responded ‘no I am still drinking it thank you’, At which point the server was apparently not listening and took my drink away anyway. We were not asked if we wanted any more drinks even though we had not yet finished our meal.

When it came to pay, there was no option on the card machine to not leave a tip as the screen only showed three % amounts to leave as the tip. I am more than happy to leave a tip if we receive good customer service, however it should not be forced upon especially when we received such poor service and no feeling of being welcomed at the restaurant at all.

Do y’all even use rice vinegar? The rice was absolutely horrible. There is no way any of these reviews have ever had sushi. I’ve had sushi prepared by hondurans that was better.

Worst part, the sushi wasn’t cold. Like… someone could get sick from that lukewarm sushi.

No no no. It’s not even good compared to the price. I hope management tries some real sushi or updates the recipes just from the bad reviews. Please don’t order from here unless you like to look at your food, presentation is the best thing about it.

Just get the drinks. My friend and I drinks were fantastic.

My best advice is to order a sushi kit for your home and make it yourself you’ll be that much more satisfied.

Love the vibe and ambience of this place. The semi outdoor seating is great to relax and have dinner without the noise of 5th Avenue. The hostess was very friendly and nice. The service and food was excellent.

Was very shocked at how great this place was, as I was a little skeptical to having sushi in Playa. Was about a 10 minute walk from where we were staying, great drinks, cute restaurant, and great food. Will definitely be back on our next visit

Miso soup was the best ever. Tulum roll (vegetarian) was pretty but super bland. Beautiful restaurant and very helpful staff. I’ll be back to try the other 2 veggie rolls. Nice sake list.

Outrageous amazing food.
Must have Tuna Tataki Salad. I never had this taste before ????
Cocktails are precise, sushi is from another planet ????

Very nice experience having dinner at Sushiclub. Absolutely delicious Salmon Teriyaki plate. Good drinks, and pleasant atmosphere.
