Diving is a big bucket list item for me to check off and I'm very glad I went with Scuba 10! I went with Scuba 10 because of the small group sizes and friendly, prompt and thorough communication from Diego, owner of Scuba 10, throughout the entire process. After discussing options Diego recommended the Discovery Dive Scuba Lesson- a one day, two location dive in the open sea. Their small class sizes allow for customized instruction tailored to the individual. I was the only individual in the Discovery Dive Lesson. On the open sea dives there was another more experienced diving group that also had a small group of three.
Cameron was exactly the type of instructor I needed, patient when I needed a little more time with a challenging exercise and reminded me of the big picture of tropical fish! We practiced putting on gear, breathing and safety in the pool first. He was informative and hilarious (which always helps) so that I felt totally safe in the open sea with no prior experience. There were a couple times my mask leaked, as a first time diver it was a bit nerve wracking to partially remove my mask 10 meters underwater. However with Cameron’s instruction and occasional help it was not a big deal. I also really appreciated that if there was an area I wanted to observe or explore longer, Cameron was totally cool with that. If you are a first time diver or an experienced one, I highly recommend Cameron for any type of lesson. He is awesome!

Since I never had the chance to finish a diving certication, I am always destined to do the 'discover diving' course. Also this time with Scuba10. In total I did 3 dives, including one in the pool. The 2 ocean boat dives (10m and 14m) were along some reef of the shore. We saw plenty of marine life, making it a great experience. Next to that I was accompanied by the very friendly and experienced dive instructor Irene. Thoroughly enjoyed my experience!

Loved the entire day SCUBA10 team organised for us! My partner and I are beginner divers and Olinka - our instructor was super supportive, patient and a great teacher! The entire team was fun and super friendly! Irene was super supportive and managed the situation well when I freak out in the ocean, she calmed me down and made my dive seem super easy!
We loved our dives and are now want to do it again! I highly recommend this place!

Did 4 dives over 2 days and had an amazing time. Our instructor Irene was fantastic and attentive, I completed my certification with SCUBA10 and couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Aside from tropical warm clear water and wonderful weather, the SCUBA10 team and equipment were fantastic. I highly recommend diving with their amazing and attentive team.

There is not enough I can say about this dive shop. They are the most responsive, courteous, and well organized show I have ever dealt with. I have travelled all over the world diving and I wish Scuba 10 was everywhere. The checkin staff were ready and waiting to check us in. Then our dive guide, Julio, was right there to help fit us with gear. The gear was clean and well maintained. Next we took a quick trip to the beach to board our boat. The boat powered three small groups of divers to Cozumel. Note: You will get wet because of the ocean spray, but it’s all part of the pirate life ????.
Once aboard Julio helped us rig our gear to the tanks and we were off. When we arrived at the first spot we had our debrief, and were in the water exploring. Julio was a fantastic guide and really kept us together. He showed us all the local fish and was so helpful when my husband had trouble with his buoyancy.
Once we were done, the boat crew helps us all back on board and we were off to the next spot. There we were given amazing sandwiches on soft bolillo bread and bananas. After a little chitchat to let the food digest we were diving again.
The dives were amazing. The water was so clear and warm. This shop, their staff, and their dive spots were incredible. I can’t wait to come back. 20/10

Me and my gf walked around the entire Playa del Carmen and visited nearly every scuba diving school in order to choose the best school for the Open Water Diver course. We chose this one almost immediately after talking to Irene - the dive master, patient, honest, knowledgeable and funny woman! And I’m very happy we did because Scuba10 didn't only certified us but made us feel like a part of one big family, they made this a terrific adventure! ????

We've never tried scuba diving before and our instructors Irene and Syria were again very patient and knowledgeable, answered all my million questions, made us feel safe by explaining equipement, different situations and procedures. They generously took time to make sure we understood everything and felt confident and comfortable underwater. Scuba10 is the passion driven people, from briefings before the dive to cleaning the equipment after the dive, extremely professional and at the same time very kind and fun people, you truly feel like among friends and family there.

Once again big thanks to Irene, Syria, Elisa, Daniel, Gerardo, Alberto, Jorge and others that make Scuba10 such a great place!

We had excellent time doing our open water certificate. Instructors are fantastic - very professional and attentive. They spend a lot of time explaining every detail and the most important you simply feel safe next to them. We left the school with fantastic memories and we recommend everyone to go to scuba 10! ????????
