This place is great. Food is tasty and quickly prepared, prices are fair. Very well located, you can see there many locals in there, which is a good sign. Try the pollo torta, and don't leave Mexico without trying the famous cochinita pibil.

The tacos and tortas here are amazing!! Very simple and cheap food, but better than any at the resort. These and El Fogon are my favorite tacos in PDC.

Found it via a guide video recommendation. Fast and friendly service. Satisfyingly juicy and tasty tacos. The flavours are awesome. Give it a try if you are there.

Cochinita pivil is a slow cooked pork marinated in achiote seasoning. Bread is crispy and fresh and the purple onion in vinegar sauce compliments the pork perfectly. Trust me, you won't regret going.

Amazing find and inexpensive too! Will be back to this place next time I'm Playa del Carmen. Just off 5th Ave is a great location as well. Try all tacos especially the pork.

If you are walking through Playa, you want to taste something typical, and you don't want to pay a lot for it, this is the place for you. The food taste like traditional Mexican home kitchen. The portion size is good. The only thing that you have to bare in mind is that they only serve pork meat and quesadillas. You are not gonna find a salad, soup or anything else. The price is good for the food you are getting, there are cheaper options, but being almost at the Quinta avenida, this is incredibly cheap.
