Good value for money. Location is great (!), restaurants and bars are really close but there wasn't disturbing noise from the nightlife. The rooms were spacious. Wifi was ok, it worked well most of the time. The shower and the toilet might need a little improvements but there wasn't anything badly wrong. The owner is really nice and she speaks perfect english. I stayed here for 8 nights with my friends and we can recommend this place if you're looking for a nice place to stay in the center of Playa del Carmen.

When we first arrived, the outer appearance of Casa de Nico was not what we expected. But as soon as we got to the door we were greeted but an enthusiastic host named Federica. She greeted us with hugs in the traditional Mexican way. She brought us to our room and everything was so clean and fresh. She provided us everything that we needed from hair dryer, soap, towels... Nothing was missing except for hot water. That was easily fixable by a phone call and Federica was on it right away. Casa de Nico is located right in the middle of all the action in Playa de Carmen. So if you're looking for somewhere to have a drink, enjoy good food or buy souvenirs, you're going to find it. I would have given it 5 stars but since it is located near the main Street you hear club music till the all-night long. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends, family o

Charges extra for aircon. For the rate you're paying should be included

Nico was very polite and helpful. It was a good and cozy place to stay. Very well located, that's what I liked more.
