We attended the British night at Imprevist and it was 8 courses for approximately $600pesos. Totally worth it. They offered an upgraded menu with wine pairing which we didn't try. Each and every dish they brought out was amazing both in presentation and in taste! The regular menu looked equally as amazing and I look forward to returning to try out the rest of their menu.

Their breakfast deals are very good. You get lots of different items and drinks with the breakfast deal. Their bagel sadwich could have a little more salmon though

Very good breakfast. It comes with a coffee, bread basket, juice, fruits and one a la carte menu. If you are staying at Porto Playa Condo, you can get a breakfast coupon for 165 pesos (8USD). Otherwise, price is 230 pesos

Maybe we expected too much based on the previous reviews and always seeing a packed place at dinner every time we walked past it. Maybe it was an off night to try this place, but the food we had was seriously underwhelming, bland, and below average quality. Good service though overall, although they were out of my favorite wine varietal by the bottle and after a couple of short poured glasses, we decided not to keep ordering by a glass. The dinner prices are on the expensive (for Playa) side. Filet was overcooked (med-well instead of med-rare), salmon that was ordered medium tasted very tough/previously frozen and dry and just overall lacked flavor. We didn’t want to make a fuss as other couples were just sitting down for their romantic outing at very closely positioned tables, but we also weren’t asked how our food was once we got it, as the servers got busy with other tables.

We actually had Vday dinner #2 at a local place down the street because it was that bad here and it was much better there, for 1/4th the price..

Maybe come here for cocktails or breakfast/brunch (per other reviews), as it is a nice atmosphere!

My favourite restaurant in Playa. The food is amazing, high quality and very tasty, great value for money. They serve breakfasts/brunch and dinner. Breakfast is plentiful, for about 200 pesos you get so much good food I cannot think of better way to start the day, and there is no chance you'll leave hungry. I tried a lot from the dinner menu and everything was delicious with octopus being my standard order for appetiser. Hazelnut fondant and sticky toffee date pudding are to die for so leave a room for dessert!
Another reason I keep going back to this place is top notch service, very nice, professional and very attentive - they truly look after you!

The service was excellent and the food was delicious! Andres took excellent care of us, and he was able to make wine suggestions that were spot-on. We enjoyed the entire meal and we will certainly be returning. Also, they know how to make a real Old Fashioned, which seems to elude most restaurants we have been to in Playa.
