I had an amazing time. Very knowledgeable staff, very safe, totally awesome experience. Santiago was a great instructor and dive master and made sure we were all comfortable and technically proficient before going down. I'll be back on my next trip!

An absolutely amazing experience. The instructor was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I'm blown away by my experience. Phantom Divers take the entire scuba diving experience easy from the booking to online certifications, training in the pool and culminating with the open water dive. I recommend them to first time divers of all ages.
A quick update. I wanted to give a shout out to Misra. He was is absolutely fantastic instructor and made my PADI Open Water Diver certification a pleasurable experience.

I went for my first open water dive with Borris from Phantom Divers in Playa del Carmen two days ago. . It was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Getting ready for the dive was quick and informative. The best part was how comfortable the dive instructor made me feel in the water. I was a little intimidated at first since it was my first “real” open water dive. Borris was very professional and confident and really made sure to take things at a pace I was comfortable with. . By our second dive of the day, I felt SO comfortable under the water. .

Great Dive!! Detailed safety briefing, fun guides and most importantly lots of big bull sharks up close and personal! Highly recommend!

Phantom divers is an excellent dive shop through and through! You can trust your life in their capable hands because the staff is so experienced and knowledgeable, giving each student/diver the utmost attention. I did my open water certification with Phantom. Huge shout out to instructor Misra (Misrayim) who is just an absolute gem of a person! His experience speaks for itself underwater and his personality/style of teaching is definitely hard to find. Will recommend phantom to first time learners and divers requiring a refresher because my partner and I had an amazing experience. The big bonus is the amazing marine life you get to see on both the reef dives and deep dives. Thanks guys, hope to be back some day!

Highly recommend.
They went out of their way to organize a a last minute night dive for a me on a notice of just 1 day, and this ended up becoming the hightlight of my vacation trip. The shop has a very chill atmosphere, and the dive master I dived with: Santiago, was very knowledgable yet extremely friendly and enthusiastic. He immediately put my fears about night diving at rest and guided myself and other divers through a memorable experience spotting a lot of marine life for us.
