Came here for lunch right before heading back to the airport. This is on 5th street strip which is filled with non Mexican restaurants but this spot did not disappoint. Sat on rooftop and the whole group enjoyed the food. They had 2 different platter plates that were both really good. Shrimp enchiladas were amazing. The chimichanga was also very tasty! Would definitely come back here next time. Very nice vibe inside restaurant and staff was really friendly!

I stopped by this restsurant on the Fifth Avenue to try today. The pico de gallo and chips were good. I ordered the fish and shrimp in garlic and butter that was served with mashed potato and veggies. The service was good and the staff were friendly.

Awesome experience food service and vibe was perfect! I had the Chile rellonos my favorite SO GOOD. my husband had the chicken quesdillas the refried beans were perfect! Muy Rico!! They treated us to a surprise tequila bottle with our photo on it! be aware though if going back through airport they won't allow it I had to dump it out unfortunately but they let us keep the bottle for memories lol I tried I could only bring the little tequilas through the airport fyi(if you are trying to bring back those little tequilas) ???? so drink it while you are there before you have to go back to the airport lol GO to the store across the street from Bar Loco and get all your souvenirs there best prices for those little tequilas! I paid more somewhere else ugh lol so always check different shops for better deals. ANYWAYS Las camelias is where to go for good food great experience THANKYOU LAS CAMELIAS! ☺️ ❤️????????????????????????????

Be aware of this place they added a 20% tip automatically, from a table of 2 adults and 2 kids even that the receipt said suggested. Their water portions are a joke and their food is average, the waiter only took our order in and brought our ticket to pay.

My first stop in playa while waiting for checks in it was most inexpensive restaurant I had in this area the food and fresh guacamole made right in front me was pretty nice I normally don’t eat it but while I’m Mexico I’m always up for new experience

The food was not very good, but thats the least of it. We sat outside and someone claimed to take our picture for the restaurants facebook page. Then tried to sell it to us for 1000 pesos (basically 50 dollars). Then the waiter came out at the end and tried to lie about how much the total bill was. There is no oversight here to make sure they aren't ripping off tourists. If you are not a native DO NOT EAT HERE!

We eat at the restaurant every time we go to Playa Del Carmen (we'refrom the U.S. and vacation in the area). I have never had a bad meal there and their Cadillac margaritas are divine!
