Very misleading with the pictures. We just returned home today and I promise you we will never return. First off 90% of the pictures are from the surrounding resorts. Secondly, this place only has one restaurant which was closed so they had to cook everything outside, the majority of the time we just ate at the other restaurants. Thirdly there were maybe 60 people at this resort and my husband and I were the only two African Americans. We complained about the unit on the top floor because due to our Military injuries it makes it hard to go up and down the stairs at times. We were told they were fully booked which they were not because not many people were there. Now we went to inquire about touring the place for ownership and Ula told us that she would talk to the guy to see if there were any appointments. She then asked what type of work we did which did not matter so my husband said he cuts grass. We’re both Retired Military, I have a nice job in the Government and he’s a VP in a huge bank. We never heard from her until the next day when we were lounging by the pool talking to the others and she came over to say there were no appointments available and that she would give us her card so we could inquire later. We never saw her again. You never judge a book by it’s cover. There is absolutely no beach, we walked down to the other property to get in the ocean. This was a total waste of time.

Relished every moment at this place. Staff was awesome, amicable and took care of our everyday needs, place was impeccably clean and events took place on a daily basis. Food and drinks served was quality even though it was an all inclusive resort. Blissful spot in Playa de Carmen and highly recommended for the price.

Highly recommend this resort. All inclusive with decent accommodations. Beach water has alot of underwater plants or algae type bushes but other than that it's clear water.

What Beach???? Where did they hide the Beach???

With a name like “Hidden Beach” I think it is reasonable to assume there is actually a beach at this resort…. There is not. Even the main photograph on the resorts website pictures a beach. Again THERE IS NO BEACH only a very rocky shoreline that is not walkable or swimmable. I actually cut my stay short by 2 days because of this situation. They clearly are advertising a resort with a beach and again, there is NO BEACH. When I confronted the resort management about the issue and informed them I would be leaving early and expected a full refund of the 2 unused nights due to there deceptive marketing techniques I was told that because I had booked the stay thru a 3rd party they could not help me and that I would need to take up my grievance with the booking agency.... What???? The booking agency only advertises what the resort authorizes... The problem lies with KARISMA resorts, not the booking agency!!!

Be aware if you are looking for a walkable swimmable beach this IS NOT the place for you!

We have been coming here for more than 4 years 3 to 4 trips a year. The staff go out of there way to make sure you are happy and acknowledge. The food is always changing and if you don't see what you want you can ask for it. If you jave a food allergy like me they make sure thar everyone is aware and prepare your food separate. Activities always change except for water volleyball and entertainment as well jas changed and are very enter active with the guest. The spa team is excellent we always request Paulino and Cynthia. The management is super and always around. Ula always is around and always doing things for the guest and doing special trips to get special orders for the guest. This is our home away from home and will always continue to come back to see our extended family.

This is a one-of-a-kind place. It sets between two much larger resorts (that are not clothing optional) and, as a guest of Hidden Beach, you are able to use all of the amenities of the other resorts, then come back to your own little private place at Hidden Beach. This creates a dynamic where the guests of HB are kind of like a "club" and there is a ton of interaction and comradery with other HB guests, both at HB and in the other resorts. It is very cool.

In addition to the great staff, the single best thing about the resort is Ula Szylak. She is the resort's personal Concierge and she is absolutely amazing. She is highly engaged, always available and she cares about the guests of HB more than anything I have ever seen or experienced. She is a great listener, she quickly understands what needs to be done and she jumps on every detail to ensure guests' expectations are met and exceeded. My wife and I can't say enough good about Ula, and there really is no way to understand her commitment to her guests without experiencing it. In addition, she is extremely kind, happy and positive all of the time. She brings joy to everyone as she walks around the resort many times each day.
Obviously, we highly recommend this resort and it is largely due to Ula. As long as she is there, we will continue returning to the resort, she makes it worth it every time. A HUGE THANK YOU to Ula!!

People here are great and friendly, staff are awesome, food and drinks so far has been great. Maintenance though needs to stay on top of repairs needed in the rooms, could be a shortage of staff during Covid not sure. They were quick to respond when we called but a room should be “make ready” when you move in for days. We had to call about several things our first day and we are not that picky, we just expected simple things to work like flush toilet, closet light, jacuzzi, and our safe in the room.
