A really nice, friendly, small resort. It had a really personal feeling to it and everyone was so friendly. It wasn’t quite as luxurious as other hotels I’ve been to near here but I still think it’s worth the money.
The buffet selection and standard to which the food was cooked is easily the highest I’ve ever been to for standard. Obviously you’d get the occasional overcooked but of veg but on the whole it was just great.

Gerard and the animation team were just amazing. Went out of their way to talk to everyone, made a huge effort to get everyone involved and made the activities so much fun too. So approachable and friendly, they’re just amazing.
The only thing I feel bad about is it is compulsory for all staff to wear masks, even though there are no covid restrictions in the country. It would be nice for them to be given the option I think. Makes them easier to hear too!
Would definitely recommend!

We are really enjoying our time at Catalonia Riviera Maya. They have a lot of entertainment options. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they really make you feel welcomed and cannot do enough to help you. Some of the bedrooms need to be renovated but I believe this is happening now and hopefully they will bring them all up to the same expected standard. It would be great if they had a kettle in the rooms. A few things that could improve our experience is possibly a chill out bar. We love the lobby bar but it can be very noisy and when you’re here for two weeks you don’t always want a noisy atmosphere. It would also be great if they had a proper snack place. The snack bar is good but it’s all hot food which equate to a meal. Sometimes it might be good to have a cake mid afternoon or some ice cream. Again, these are small things and over all we have had a fantastic time!

Karol is fantastic entertainer! She’s so much fun on the dance floor—always making sure we’re dancing and having a good time. She’s definitely made the trip more exciting as it’s my first time in Mexico! My group of friends and I fully admire her energy. A great staff member for the resorts 2022 season! Thank you for everything! Everyone here has treated us so extremely well!

I had a great time at the resort. The food was good. What made it better was the ability to make reservations to different types of food ‘genres’ which gave a more exclusive date like feel. My favorite part was the activities. Jared and his team were awesome and lots of fun to be around! Jared was very nice, personable and inclusive to all guests as was the rest of his team. Overall great time! If you are looking for activities to do at the resort, the animation team won’t let you down!

After reading many of the review sites I was apprehensive to say the least.
We had a fantastic time, the standard rooms big and housekeeping were excellent.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The entertainment team were very good with activities throughout the day.
Would I go again, yes.
Location was great within a gated community so you were safe to walk around outside of the hotel.

Had such a great time here! Absolutely amazing to see their performances every evening. Beautiful costumes and they preform stunt that make your jaw drop! I was so impressed. Also the waitstaff Rosa and Lorenzo are so friendly and have great drink recommendations. Did some yoga on the beach with Karol and she made my lower back pain disappear. There's so much to do here you will not be bored.

Everything was perfect, and I would especially like to thank Christopher and Daniela for their extraordinary service and attention.
My wife had a health issue and we got all the support she needed. Room service is excellent and all meals are delicious.
All staff are polite and helpful in all areas of the hotel.
Our stay was wonderful and we recommend it to everyone.
