Had having lunch in here, quite an experience. Love how basic and simple this place is… but the food… that’s all but simple and basic! The chicken is just perfect so juice I loved it. Nice selection of drinks and fresco, super good prices. Always good to go back when able to for a very casual tropical lunch.

Delicious flame grilled chicken. Simple sides (tortillas, pickled onions, and rice) to complement the star of the show. 140 pesos for full chicken. 90 pesos for 1/2 chicken.
Simple dining area with plastic chairs; non air conditioned.

This is a must visit in Playa! Massive portion size for the price. Grilled chicken is fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. If you’re eating alone, go for the half chicken ;)

Delicious roasted chicken ! Perfectly grilled and seasoned. The sides are great too, especially the "papas al carbon" ! This is a must try in Playa !!!

Great locals spot. Half chicken, rice, pickled onion, tons of tortillas, salsa, and some sort of green dipping sauce all for 70 pesos. You will be stuffed. Note if you get it to go "para llevar" they don't have plastic forks and knives to give you, at least when I was there.

Myself and 2 other people I know, all buying separate days and different chickens got sick for days with some type of stomach bacteria... In my photos you can see they just stack them and I've watched them serve, some of the bottom chicken were never served as fresh ones were stacked on top. Some of the bottom ones could stay at bacteria prone temperatures for too long.... its prob luck of the draw. But 3 of us after eating there getting sick is way too coincidental for me.

Late afternoon they have hundreds of cooked chickens just sitting there warm and not monitoring which ones are sitting for wayyy too long... maybe hours if they don't sell the cooked ones in the right order of when they were cooked.

Good flavor but risky if you don't want food poisoning... early day is probably better with less chance of a cooked chicken sitting there too long.

Great chicken and cheap prices. First time I’ve eaten roast chicken with tortillas and I must say it’s delicious. There’s a big trough to wash your hands and face after devouring the meal because you’ll definitely need it to clean yourself up after the feast! #BeatTheGrind
