Super chicken char broil over charcoal !!!no frills ..no ice ...cold pop hot chicken and great salsa...just off the beaten path north of the famous 5th ave..worth the walk look for the smoke...on the corner...

Tasty, cheap and more than enough food.
This place offers really amazing roasted chicken for a very fair price including tortillas, frijoles and much more, so you can built your own chicken-stuffed tacos.
While the place is quite famous, it’s often packed by locals and full if you come at the peak times.
The taste is really nice, you’re served very fast as everything gets already prepared on the spot.
If you’re around, definitely give it a try, it’s worth it.

Absolutely amazing! The chicken was the best I’ve had in Mexico. A perfect example of doing one thing and doing it to perfection. 10/10 would recommend. Especially for the price. You can’t beat it.

Road kill split coal bbq chicken. Super tasty without overdose on salt like Pirate Pollo. The secret is the habenero sause spicy vinegar and citrus. 80 pesos for medio, or 130 for the whole thing

Just got a full chicken, includes tortillas, salsa and rice. Lived in Playa for a year now and EASILY the best chicken you can get here. Charcoal grilled to perfection. With the sides it will easily feed a family of 4.

The chicken is really good and the prices area really affordable they come with sides of rice, salsa, onions and tortillas, great place to come if you want to eat good and on a budget

This place is delicious, they have a huge charcoal BBQ where they make juicy grilled chicken with a nice char and serve it to you with a bunch of sides for like $3 USD. This is a must-try if in Playa.
