The place is absolutely nice and delicious.
The staff always able to help you and bring everything you ask.
Menu is very complete, they offer pasta, pizza, salat and meat. Don't forget to ask of dessert...
Restaurant is located in a safe and iconic neigborhood of Oaxaca (Jalatlaco)
Visit La Toscana, you wont regret it.

I’ve tried a Lot of pizza and this is by far the best in the barrio and the best in the Centro! (I didn’t go farther than Reforma). They have pepper flakes!!! Highly highly recommended!

The staff was kind, helpful an just the right amount of attentive!

Also, the building and area is super beautiful!!!

My wife and I have enjoyed the food at La Toscana for many years and are glad to see that they are once again serving delicious meals after a closure and relocation in the same neighborhood. We have one disappointment to report, though. When we first frequented La Toscana there was live classical music. Over the years this was replaced by loud music videos and, now, in their new home by extremely loud club music. I'm not sure whose eating experience this enhances, certainly not ours.

I would have gave more stars but our waiter treated my husband and I like 2nd class people neither of us are high maintenance, actually very easy going. He put the oil u0026 balsamic and other sauces for bread on our table but no BREAD. The party next to us got two servings of bread. It is not a matter of the bread, it's not right to treat people like their lower. The restaurant is very trendy and the decor is outstanding. But trendy and decor doesn't carry a restaurant. I can only think of "Pretty Woman" when the boutique sales woman said to Julia Robert's character "I don't think you can afford anything in this store", Julia Robert's character returns to the boutique later with her hands and arms full with merchandise from another more expensive boutique and said "BIG MISTAKE". Treat people (even tourists) the way they treat you especially if they supporting your restaurant.

Beautiful courtyard resteraunt typical of Oaxaca. Staff was efficient and mostly friendly but one waiter was very condesening to my American friends.

Food was hit and miss. Some plates were delicious while others were surprisingly bland. Possibly missing the finishing sauces??

Typical credit card game was played. At reservation oh yes we gladly accept credit cards then when paying they try to discourge their use and conveniently their terminal did not work.

With so many wonderful resteraunts in Oaxaca unfortunately I can not recommend this one. Not bad but not top tier.

What an exceptional discovery. The hotel where I am staying at - City Centro Oaxaca- recommended me this place. The place is super cute, big and yet intimate and cozy. I had a couple of whiskey drinks, tuna tostadas and a steak. Everything for $42. Extremely flavorful. I will be back
