I did not have the best experience at all during my short trip to Monterrey Hilton. I was trying to rest for at least a couple of hours; however, they were completely booked. The receptionist was friendly to some extent.
I had taken an Uber from the Airport to the hotel; the receptionist suggested checking out other hotels around the area. He means asking the driver who drives the hotel shuttle, which was coming back from the airport, bringing me back to the airport, and possibly to stop by another Hilton property for their availability.
The driver said that he was not coming back to the airport, and he was willing to bring me back for a good tip. I reduced it and decided to take an Uber back again. I thought it was unethical to drive a customer back, charging money at the company's expense. I am a diamond member of the HILTON properties and travel extensively, and I thought it was rude and reckless; he went back to the shuttle and started eating. He did not care, which shows some empathy toward a foreign person. I am planning to report to headquarters when I am back in the us.
