I went here for dinner with my daughter on a Monday night. This place is absolutely amazing. From decor to ambiance to the friendly staff. And I have not even gotten to the food part yet. The food was amazingly prepared. Everything felt fresh and cooked to perfection. We had two people serving us the meal and at every step they explained what was what and how it was all prepared.

All in all a great experience for us. Everything was top notch and done with perfection in mind. If you are in Mexico city and want to be pampered and treated and served like royalty this is one of the few top places to go. Although it can get a little lively for business meetings however you cannot go wrong if you want to have a formal family celebration here. You just tell them in advance and they will make it a memorable visit. Make sure you have your cameras ready for the surprises.

Very delicious food. Loved the ceviches. Super fresh ingredients and tastes very refreshing and packed full of flavors. The service here was top-notch, very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend trying out this restaurant. The ambience and interior is also great.

Heard a few mixed opinions about Rosa Negra but was pleasantly surprised when I came here. Yes the prices are a bit high but the food is well worth it - especially in combination with the vibe and the wonderful waitstaff. Had a great night here and everything was tasty - the salmon, branzino, and octopus. The cocktails were just okay but the presentation was nice! Would come here for special occasions and a great experience.

Great place for the location, ambience and to impress your date!

However if you want to get the best food, there are better options. The presentation and service - excellent!! However, the pasta was way overcooked, soggy. The roast rack of lamb was seasoned way too salty even for someone myself who lean to salty side for most dishes. Left the restaurant super thirsty for 2 hours.

Overall a cool place for sure especially at night but don't think will go back again. It is a great place to be seen if that's what you want but if you want quality food, plenty of other options. However the ceviche was amazing. That was the exception.

I came here with my boyfriend for lunch. The service, food, and attention to detail were outstanding. We ordered the beet, spicy octopus, and bread as an appetizer, and shrimp risotto as a main course. Our entire meal was quite tasty. I think we could have done without the risotto as we were already full, but it was tasty nonetheless.

The ultimate dining experience! A friend and I selected this spot for our farewell to Mexico City dinner. This restaurant was nothing short of amazing. RosaNegra really understands the full dining experience with great atmosphere, doting waitstaff, great music-serenaded by a live drummer, and above all excellent gastronomy! There is no doubt that the owners put thought into crafting this experience, which sets it apart from many other restaurants I've dined at. The menu is traditional yet creative. You can go as food forward as you want or stick to more traditional dishes. RosaNegra is known for their steaks and seafood. I had the crab bisque and the risotto with beef filet. Both dishes were rich and flavorful. My friend had the New Zealand salmon and she reported that it was divine as well. I would be remiss not to mention the cocktails!! Describing them as unique would be an understatement. I had the margarita, but observing other restaurant goers--I saw drinks that contained skulls, light bulbs, and others that glowed! My friend ordered a traditional drink called carajillo which was mixed table side. RosaNegra also celebrates birthdays like no other, with waiters parading around a slice of cake with sparklers!

Was in CDMX for a weekend and was able to get a reservation on Sunday. We were a bit late yet they took care of us as soon as we arrived. Good drinks and wine. Service was great and welcoming. Will definitely be back.
