We were in and out to apply for the replacement of our stolen passports for just 3 hours, from 8-11am, then come back at 2pm to pick them up, right at the front gate. Their instruction was very clear and very easy for us to follow through, even though they were very busy with the long line. The staffs were efficient, smart and courteous. They made us feel like home. On the scale of 1 to 5 stars I must give them 10. We really saw our tax money at work!

Excellent service and staff is very helpful and friendly. A few things to note:
1. Line starts forming before your appointment time so plan to get there earlier
2. Do not carry your phone / smart phone - they will not let you take it inside
3. The line moves fairly fast outside and inside - I was in and out in 60 minutes
4. Water is available inside
5. The website says no appointments for third country nationals but they are processing visas for non Mexican residents

!!ATTENTION!! !!READ!! !!READ!!
I wasted so much money on the trip from Miami fl to Mexico City
For a crba interview witch they denied 5 minutes in it due to them not reviewing the application before issuing me the interview and there was nothing I could do it was a huge disappointment so I advise you to have a expert to review your application before submitting it and for last do not go to this usa embassy there a poor excuse of usa presenter....

Stop using COVID as an excuse for the inhumane waiting times for k1 visa interviews. It's no longer justified. All the other North, Central, and South American U.S. embassies grant k1 interviews within a few months (or weeks) of receiving the NOA2. Mexico City though? 9+ months--and it keeps getting worse. DO K1 INTERVIEWS MORE THAN ONE DAY A WEEK.

the us embassy is like a banana boat country embassy. i had requested an emergency passport renewal appointment where they where supposed to get back to me in 3 days its been 3 weeks and i havent heard anything. they give u the wrong forms, the wrong directions, if u ask for an english speaker they transfer u to a spanish speaker, they tell u they will send info to your email or phone and they dont. if these would b life or death emergencies we would all be dead.

Worst embassy I've ever had to deal with. Their phone receptionists hang up the phone when they're tired of answering questions. I had to call back 6 times. A shame and a stain on the United States.
